Well Done Gaggerlanders.

We have wanged on for over 100 pages on Australia's Premier Club Rugby Competition.

This thread is only a couple of Pages behind the AAGPS 2013 thread.

We all know how much the Occupants of Castle St Leonards love the AAGPS competition.

Perhaps they may recognise that there actually is some life, interest and passion left in Sydney Club Rugby after all, despite their somewhat indifferent treatment of the competition and the clubs.

Or maybe not, here it is 11.15am on Firday and the NSW site still doesn't have weekend Shute Shield teams up.

Should start having clubs submit teams lists to GAGR, and up list in the appropriate thread, or 3rd tier up the top of this page.

The SMH use to publish them on Wednesday, which became Thursday and now Friday. Still nothing from NSWRU. Lot of love there.

As a Gordon supporter can anyone tell me if the team Norths have picked for tomorrow, or Sunday, is the stronger? Tough call having to back up so soon after.

Hugh Roach as a #7 for Eastwood.

Is this a "career" move for him or just a short term expediency?

Seems to be doing OK in the ABC game today so far.

It would be great if the Rats could knock off Uni. Are the Woodies looking the favourites this year?

Any mail on the Rats forfeit in 4's yesterday . Never a good look - remember the flak Gordon copped last year although circs no doubt different . More ammo for those who would pulverise SS

One of the best days in a while at Chatswood yesterday. While the lower grade results weren't what we hoped 1st grade came back from 24-0 down then lead 29-24. Norths scored and converted just before the bell to lead 31-29. It was a controversial try with 2 Gordon defenders running into the ref as they were about to make the tackle.

Then Norths strangely took the option of a penalty goal from 45-50 out with seconds to go. The kick missed short and wide, the bell went. Gordon ran it down the left flank and secured a penalty of their own 2 minutes after the bell, 43 metres out in front.

Young local Henry Carmichael, wearing his Shore school socks, stepped and and knocked the goal over for the Gordon win. 32-31. Madness ensues. Good times and a great result for Ladies Day.

Great to see the Gordon boys dig deep to overcome Norths on Saturday. Truly amazing finish with Carmichael taking his first shot at goal in 1st grade - a penalty goal from 43m, 2mins after full-time (Roseville socks Gibbo!). Lucas Simkin (13) also scored two top tries. Highlanders wore their village club socks with pride and great to hear the song sung so loudly after the match. Incredible debut from young Henry and a great result from another tough local derby.

Gordon allegedly has the most junior players in the country. They should be performing a lot better in all grades, surely.

In my day a trip to Chatswood was always one of the very toughest assignments, in all grades.
