Nudgee really turned off after they scored early. Mafi did some strong carries but other than that they were ordinary. Churchie played smart footy.

i think you'll find that most of these students are in year 10/11 rather than just ring in year 12's. great day at igs today, terrace showing great signs. backs playing very well

Unconfirmed TGS 28 d BGS 10

Sounds like TGS won at any rate
What a round of upsets! I doubt many people would have predicted this except for maybe BBC over BSHS. This means no team has won all matches except TSS and no team has lost all matches except IGS (And both of those teams have only played 2 games)

BBC 35 d BSHS 25

Some BBC defensive lapses against a committed BSHS. In the end when BBC controlled the ball they had too much class across the park, particularly outside backs. Bronson, Benroy strong and Bowyer, Edwards, Russell good in the backs. Tom Morrison showed enterprise at 15 moving up from 2nds. 2nds game was entertaining with BBC backs running in some great tries. Good to see running rugby at Miskin from the GWB. Max Dempsey at 9 again very good

What a round of upsets! I

Sure was, its really opened up the competition and put a few teams back on the radar. TSS will be very happy with the results as they now remain the only undefeated side. Will have to watch over their shoulder very carefully, ACGS seems to be picking up momentum and BBC also scored a nice win.

Have to wonder what happened to Nudgee. They will somehow have to find inspiration from that loss and bounce back at Southport, the second loss at Ross Oval to Churchie in as many games must have dinted the confidence of the boys in white and blue. It's foreign that they lose at home, twice now to the same team in as many outings is very odd.

From here I think TSS v NC and TSS v ACGS will determine premiers. Not writing off a tie just yet or BBC coming home strong.

I agree, BBC v TSS will be interesting aswell, wonder what happened to BGS against TGS?

BBC really missed Wilkins and Swain. Conrats to BSHS - talk about heart - gee they gave 110-/- !!!Running rugby at it's best - no kicking even out of red zone.

This competition gets closer every year. Undefeated premierships don't come often these days. Congratulations to ACGS 1st XV, supporters apparently ran on the field at the end like it BGS NC round 9 2012 though

TGS is a team that always seems to be underestimated. I'm not sure if it is a result of being so far from the rest of the competition or if it is just because they haven't won a title now in what feels like decades, but they certainly are very capable of playing good rugby when they click.

A side that has the players and coaching staff but just struggles for consistency. They are very similar to IGS and BSHS, some years they have superstars and look like title contenders and other years you can't see them in the Top 5 let alone top 8.

They like the 'underdog' tag and perform well when people write them off. BGS probably thought they were going to win and maybe that cost them. The trip up the range is always an advantage for the boys at home out west, gotta wonder if that played a part.

I think TSS will have enough fire power to beat BBC. TSS fit into the category of schools which know how to finish a side off once they hit the lead, I'd add NC to that - as shown at Ross Oval last week. BBC played well and had the players they just weren't mentally better than NC. (I would have had ACGS in that category after the 2011 season but they showed in round 1 that they can struggle closing out opposition). BGS last year had it but obviously losing key players will always effect the side.

Have to wonder how badly the loss of Morrey hurt BGS, losing a key forward is one of the worst things for a side (note the return of MacMillan and ACGS turn of fortune - obviously there's more to it than that but you get the point).

Side note: Big congrats to GT, every win is a milestone for them right now and will do their confidence the world of good. The path back to the top is a long one so don't expect miracles this season but perhaps this result is an indication that things are improving.

Nudgee will be lamenting home loss to Churchie.

They opened the scoring and then got smacked by a very

committed ACGS. #12Nigel Tanuvasa was a wrecking ball all day.

Other outstanding players were #10Mack Mason, #14Aiden Dempsey,

#9Harry Nucifora, #13Izaia Perese and #8Harley Fox.

Very impressive win to the blue n grey. Congrats Jason Gillmore.

Can someone explain how the same team lost to State High
