Then you can shove the Queensland off field genius theory where it is unlikely to see sunshine, and then explain why Link was so vocal and forward about why it was such a fantastic plan.

Shit, I thought it was just a fucking incompetent disaster but now you say it was all well planned and executed. The Reds are in Year 2 of a 30 year plan.

Should I copy and paste this into the Reds 2015 thread?
No, but you and everyone else should stop baiting Reds supporters, or even talking about them, or McKenzie's tenure there at all.
W-A-R-A-T-A-H-S.
Everyone get the fuck on topic and stay the fuck on topic.

Ouch. Someone is still getting to grips with a sore liver :)

Anyone know where they're up to with a new CEO? Or do we have to wait for Cheika to get back from Europe so he can pick one? :)

Hey hold on. You guys are witty and all, but since when is not baiting Reds not part of the Waratahs 2015 strategy?

^^^ Perhaps we should start an "Interstate Handbags" Thread to satisfy those who want to indulge in such things, and to keep the <insert Team Name> Team threads about the respective teams?

That would be handy.

I really need somewhere to convey my:

  • Hope for NSW demise;
  • Hate for the Force for pillaging the Reds prior to '06;
  • Hate for the Rebels for pillaging the Reds prior to '11;
  • Hate for the Rebels for signing McMahon when we already had too many back rowers;
  • Hate for NSW media for it's contribution to McKenzie's demise as Wallaby coach;
  • Hate for Bob Dwyer for dropping Paul McLean in 1982;
  • Emerging hate for the Brumbies for signing Butler when we really didn't have room for him;
  • Hate for the Rising for having all their best players available the time they faced Brisbane City with most of their best players unavailable; and
  • A few other sources of anger.
A thread to complain about all of these would be great HJ.

Plus talk the shit up of young Queenslanders. Then bag the fuck out of them when they either get injured a lot or don't quite deliver.

Hey my Tah match attending friends. Quick question for you. On a big match day at the SFS (or SCG for that matter) - test, Super Rugby, AFL etc, does much happen in Crown St? Is that where the pubs are etc?

The pubs are all over but there are certainly a bunch of Crown St. A sizable bunch of GAGR people met before the Tahs v Brumbies semi final at The Clock Hotel which is on Crown St.

There are certainly closer pubs that get smashed though; The Olympic, Captain Cook Hotel and PJ Gallaghers are all bursting at the seems before big events.

Crown Street pubs are probably a good compromise in that you're still within walking distance of the SCG/SFS but are likely to be able to find a seat etc.

Crown Street is a good start, but a bit of a hike to the ground. GR&G had a great eam meeting this season at the Clock.

The Local Taphouse in Darlinghurst is another good spot,

But be warned many of the pubs won't allow jerseys after the game

interesting. But not the go to site that a Caxton St would be for Suncorp matches are?

Not really I'd say.

Even on the days/nights of big events you'd find the majority of the crowds on Crown St are there to go out on Crown St rather than as a pre/post match venue.

Crown St and surrounds in Surry Hills is a significant entertainment precinct in Sydney.

Planning a Sydney trip Reg?

I'll be first to say we don't have anything like Caxton Street, but there are plenty of good pubs close to the SFS that have a pretty good atmosphere after a game.
My mates and I tend to go to the Grand National, the London or the Four in Hand. Nothing wrong with the really close ones like the Olympic and the Captain Cook, but they're absolutely packed and you've got a job to get a beer.
