Watching Hawera play on the weekend, I thought that he might go pretty well at fullback - nimble on his feet, seems to be able to spot a gap, decent boot etc. I'm not sure how he is under the high ball or if he's ever actually played fullback before but there's still a fair chance he'd be an improvement on Toua.

So if JJH is showing some promise at 10 (admittedly against lower quality opposition), maybe they could give him a start at 10 and shift Hawera to 15?

He always looks "threatening" to me when ball in hand. Seems to tackle OK (as opposed to Moggy who had a great kick but horrible in Defence.

Larkham must like him as he is picked straight up, OR the Bums have absolutely no-one else who an play fullback

He has looked threatening from day one and is yet to do more then look threatening. No bark or bite.

So apart from what BJ said about the poor kicking, his 50% tackle success rate is not great (so no, his tackle is not OK), especially knowing that he out of position and misses a tackles quite frequently. and at best he he averages 1 tackle a game.

The other issue is the 1.8 turnovers conceded per game.

Bernie does seem to favour some players for unknown reasons. The newly anointed favoured son is concrete boots Godwin.

I wouldnt change 8,10 or 15... Brumbies need game time... Haweraat 10 is doing well and will get better with Powell...

Brumbies and UC seem to have mended some bridges by announcing a new agreement and will feature on the back of the jersey

I hope this "agreement" is a proper formalised one, not like the previous mythical "alliance" agreement that was put together in 2012 , but in 2015 it was revealed that it required more work to sort it out - even though it apparently was the long term agreement with the UC and the Brumbies about accommodation arrangements.

Can't help but wonder if it was part of the UC, and in particular the VC Parker v Jones issue. Sorta fits with the Boards "Jones upsetting the stakeholder" comments don't it!

Seems to have been handled very quietly since the new VC took over at UC.

The new VC said the only issues he saw were between two individuals.

Now both aren't in their respective positions, everyone seems to have moved on and repaired the damage and this can only be a good thing considering all the other external business that's going on with SANZAAR.
