Clark I can stand. Horan not awful.
Kearns is terrible. Martin is as biased as the days is long and Maloney is just laden with superlatives and nothing commentary. At least Bruce mcevany who loves a superlative can tell an articulate and compelling story.
I was watching a fair bit of the euro championship today and the commentary there is so much better

I think there are better and more experienced Shute Shield 10s out there - the first 2 tries we conceded we were hiding people in D

Bit surprised, an air of resignation in his voice these days.. A “they did their best” vibe

David Hava Nagilah is sloooowww. I’d wager Hooper would beat him in a footrace.

RRobinson mad rush out of the line = first try

#8 Holloway’s play is developing in a slightly ominous way visa visor Bledisloe

The whole difference between Aus and NZ rugby at the 32 min mark when after end to end play the Tahs turn it over Horowitz has two tired Cru defenders in front and Kellaway outside him does he run ? no he does an aimless kick downfield and a couple of phases later the Cru are in the opposite side. I think every NZ side would have kept the ball in hand.

Although true, unfortunately I feel that their fitness levels are also so far behind that even if they did attempt the counterattack they would've been run down and turned over anyways............

The difference between anz and aus is - as Mick byrne saison in the Australian this weekend - skill level and knowledge in unstructured play. As soon as the offense goes unstructured and based on "playing what's in front of you" ( a common kiwi adage that RD was wrongly derided for advocating) the aus teams lose their minds and scramble defense cause they don't know how to respond. This scrambling wastes energy and makes them appear less fit cause they are wasting more of their fitness than the kiwi teams who know how to defend unstructured attack.

Why did Kearns just comment about wingers' weight in stones?
Wouldn't surprise me if people turned off super rugby due to his, Maloney and martins commentating.

Unfortunately those who might be put off by such comments (casual or new rugby followers) gave up watching years ago.

The only people listening are the rusted ons, who would keep listening even if we had Hitler and Stalin doing the commentary.

Aimless kick from the 'tahs & nek minnit Bateman's in under the sticks, CruSadists 26-10. Holloway didn't come back out after HT & Crotty's off, presumably for good this time.

So was that not a clear knock on prior to the saders try or what? Like clear as day?
