    Australian Rugby / RA

The Tuggeranong Vikings tried to get a club championship thing going when McKellar was coaching them. They beat Sunnybank and then Sydney Uni (after Eastwood refused to play them).

    Brumbies 2018

It cost me $52.50 (including a $5.50 handling fee to email me the ticket) to reserve my member's seat in the Gregan/Larkham stand. Your deal seems far more generous. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Jaguares vs Brumbies - Sunday 28 May, 7:40am (AEST)

Yeah, or with any penetration in the mid-field. It's been fairly frustrating.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Amalgamating them is, in effect, no different to cutting the Brumbies. They'd play a couple of games in Canberra for a season which nobody would go to and then just move completely to Melbourne. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    Force v Brumbies - Round 3 2016

Bongo scored, we are all happy.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - Round 2, 2016

It's still early days but I get the distinct impression that Toua is about as effective in defence as Mogg and Coleman. It would be nice to have someone safe at the back for once.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

I'll be there too - will be my first visit to Europe. Alas, this is the only game I could get to.

    Brumbies 2015

That's great news, I was getting worried.

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

Regardless of the weather I'm psyched. From easy beats to finalists in two years.

    Conservatism and intelligence

Thanks for the mildly condenscending response. It's been a common theme in discourse on the accuracy of political forecasting since the 90s - the old fox vs hedgehog debate. Experts who think in the 'Fox' cognitive style are suspicious of a commitment to any one way of seeing issues, and prefer...

    Conservatism and intelligence

I can't speak to the intelligence side of the equation but I've done quite a lot of work on predictions and forecasting. It is clear that people who view the world through any sort of ideological prism (be that right or left wing) are notoriously bad at making accurate predictions about...

Brumbies v Reds Super Rugby round 14

Don't pity us, the cold weather keeps us sharp. Whereas evidence suggests that constant exposure to warm weather inevitably dulls the mind.

John I Dent Cup and ACT competition - 2012

Does anybody know who John I Dent was? The only information I can find from google is that he donated the original trophy. So was he just a rich guy with a spare trophy?

    Brumbies 2012

Tim Gavel is reporting that Fagan is considering signing another back to cover for injuries. I can't imagine there are that many floating around who don't already have a contract. Also, apparently we play Wales on 12 June (not sure if that had been announced previously or not).

    Biltong

My mate's dad used to use the oven on low-temp with the door slightly ajar, so this might be an option too.

    Biltong

I've made lots of jerky, although unsure if the process is any different with biltong. I use a dehydrator which works a treat.

Lunch with Pat McCabe anyone? Robbie Deans perhaps? http://www.allbids.com.au/Category/?T=ACT-Brumbies-Auction&ID=1089

    Great Articles

I should probably make my first post rugby-related, but this is an interesting article from the New York Times about the political climate in Australia and New Zealand. A few inaccuracies but interesting nonetheless. Apparently almost all of us are Democrats...
