The Tuggeranong Vikings tried to get a club championship thing going when McKellar was coaching them. They beat Sunnybank and then Sydney Uni (after Eastwood refused to play them).

Amalgamating them is, in effect, no different to cutting the Brumbies. They'd play a couple of games in Canberra for a season which nobody would go to and then just move completely to Melbourne.

It's still early days but I get the distinct impression that Toua is about as effective in defence as Mogg and Coleman. It would be nice to have someone safe at the back for once.

Tim Gavel is reporting that Fagan is considering signing another back to cover for injuries. I can't imagine there are that many floating around who don't already have a contract. Also, apparently we play Wales on 12 June (not sure if that had been announced previously or not).
