Welcome to the Green and Gold Rugby forums.
As you can see we've upgraded the forums to new software. Your old logon details should work, just click the 'Login' button in the top right.
Is it too early to start this? If there is a structured format for the RWC then fell free to delete mods.
With our games spaced a week apart and then 2 weeks between the final pool game v Portugal and the QFs, I won't be surprised if we start our strongest available lineup in every match...
Ripping the bandaid off as a Tahs fan - unfortunately no high profile returns from the injury ward I don't think, suspect we will field a largely similar 23 to that v the Chiefs. Brumbies will no doubt look a fair bit different to the side they sent out against the 'Saders.
I've volunteered to host a FRD league for the upcoming season. For those who haven't played before it's a unique fantasy game in that you pick up players in a draft and every player can appear only on one team, and there's waivers etc each week. In the past people have participated initially...
I did consider naming this thread Australia A v Wales.
However, we’ve shown that even with almost a whole 23 unavailable we can mix it with the best, and Wales aren’t going great either. Hopefully we can put them to the sword and finish 2022 on a high note.
Whats the likely team, and more...
Talking about Ned Hanigan’s impact stats is getting dull, thought it was close enough to starting focusing on game 1. Presumably we will roll out our strongest team for this, how does that look?
Based on the discussion in some of the other threads, and with the squad announcement yesterday, seems an opportune time to get this going. 10 and 15 are no doubt the crucial picks for this game.
No time like the present.
So we are potentially looking at something like this:
1. Bell
2. Porecki
3. Tupou
4. Philip
5. Frost
6. Leota
7. Hooper
8. Valetini
9. White
10. Lolesio
11. Koroibete
12. Kerevi
13. Ikitau
14. Wright
15. Hodge
16. Fainga'a
17. Slipper
18. Alaalaatoa
19. Holloway/LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)...
Wasn’t sure where I could post this without spoiling things for those who want to catch up on some overnight games. So, thought a dedicated thread on the topic could be worthwhile.
Check this out!
I’m not surprised a Tahs supporter hasn’t rushed in to start this thread, but thought a Brumbies one would have started it last Saturday!
Anyway, here it is.
A few team predictions for this sneaking through on the Bled 2 thread, so an opportune time to start this a couple of weeks out.
Basis Bled 2 team. Assuming To'omua fit and no O/S players:
13 - OUT: Paisami, IN: Petaia
15 - OUT: Banks, IN: DHP
20 - OUT: Wright, IN: Samu
22 - OUT: Petaia, IN...
