You’ve got a long way to go yet.
Federal Government approved funds for massive improvements to Brookie oval 5 or 6 elections ago.
Pretty much reaffirmed funding during each election cycle.

Sure, that’s always a risk depending on planning approval and what year it’s budgeted for .

conversely the fed govt pledged money towards Rugby Australia’s golden throne at Moore Park, and it was built the same election cycle

QLD Budget released. Can't see a Ballymore allocation yet.

With the apparent surge in interest from retirees looking to take advantage of the franking credit scheme and the real chance of a recession on the horizon I wouldn't be holding your breath.

Expect another report soon called the “Queensland Sport and Active Recreation Strategy 2019-2029“ that will offer a direction for funding and programs

I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but if funding is to be provided it will be outlined through the new Active Queensland program, its the new state govt program for funding sports from grassroots through to elite, was only released last week and part of the focus is constructing new facilities in the 1st phase, so if its going to happen I expect news will come out soon about it.
