Let's hope the natural mongrel in Reimer, Chalmers, Northcote et al manages to match the natural mongrel of Wright and others.

My old buddies Hasbeen and Rod,

The news is both Moretti and Wright are out v Barker.

Luca is injured and Finn is overseas in Ireland with his family.

Ok, let's have some fun and bring on the banter.

I hope you are at the game next week, we will all cross that bridge thing, not sure of its name, is there a fee/charge/toll?

You need a north shore Visa mate - it is a foreign country for you lot - but we will let you in. I think.

Bad news. I am sure Barker would have much preferred to have played against Wave's best team. If they do manage to win, it will always be met otherwise with "yeah but Moretti and Wright were out..." and that is not a good thing. I think they may rather go down to the best possible team rather than win against a team without the Aussie schoolboy players. But then again, they may not give a stuff!! ha ha!! A win is a Win is a win...and if they manage to pull it off against W, and come through it without major injuries, they have a psycho advantage against Knox....anyways with this schoolboy Rugby anything can happen. I do hope both boys are back on deck quickly. I will keep an eye out for you WLF - I will probably stand out in front of where the W Dads are standing and yell "Barker Barker Barker" facing you and see what happens.....

Haso, think you will find the replacements may surprise you.
But agree everyone would like full teams on the paddock, but it can't be helped.

I suggest to yell our Barker Barker Barker very early to get it in before the score quickly builds for the double V.

38/19 FT Barker wins over a very competitive St Pats side

Rod, it sounds like a very good hit out for the Barker team, imo good planning by the Barker coaches, hope no injuries, and just 1 week from the big game.

Haso, just got our passports updated!

Can't wait, also hope it is a fine weather day.

No injuries and a bunch of players blooded. Dane Wilson was everywhere at no 8. Reimer came on late in the 2nd half. Flaherty and Northcot provided plenty of go forward while the backs blew out some cobwebs. I think they trailed a prop as only Melchoir was playing. Charmers Thomas, Pollard , Galloway were all not playing. None of the absences are due to injury.

Anyone prepared to make a prediction for CAS 2018? Obviously it's way too early but would be interesting to see how it compares to the team that gets picked in just under a years time.
Barker will be competitive.. those from this years 1st XV returning are

Reimer, Flaherty,Pollard, tecjac, Nercessian, Galloway,Kitchener, Dring, Weymouth, Wilson.

I agree with Rod, Barker imo will go into 2018 as favourites with over half the team returning. I wouldn't have enough knowledge of other teams to make a CAS team but i'm sure Reimer, Flaherty, Pollard and Tejec will all feature.
