Played his guts out every week, supported the lower grades and was the same all round great rugby guy that he is in Perth.

Hooper's game face and rant (deserved) towards his players after a Force try, showed the absolute frustration he felt.

Didn't seem to have an effect on the performance of his players after that.

Is he a good player ? - Yes (despite all the criticisms, valid or not)

Is he a good captain ? - No

He reminds me of Freddy Flintoff - great leader when not captain. He's the guy that the captain points at and says "look at Hoops, let's get stuck in like he is."
