Players who will be returning next year (correct me if I'm wrong) and will be ones to watch:

Shore: Rixon, Gregory

Newington: Serhon, Simonssen, Taukamo, Kuenzle, Helu

Joeys: Jaffer-Williams, Barnes

Scots: Todd, Yunipingu

Kings: Pietsch, Skelly

Riverview: Noonan, Terry

Grammar: Sheldon

Pirina (I), Wennerbom (J), C. Smith (S), N. Brown (K), Kim (K) are also in the same age group, but to the best of my knowledge they're all in Yr 12. Also Cam Murray (N), but he could potentially be doing pathways.

Obviously this isn't ALL the talent that we'll see in 2016, as I'm not as learned about GPS rugby as I'd like to be. Feel free to contribute more names.

Pirina (I) is in year 11, not 12.
Chris Scott (I) also one to watch in 2016

Kings have quite a few back I believe. Most of their pack and a number of backs also. Riverview have cutler , Fenn, Scott, C Rorke, Pirina, Terry plus a number from 2's that had some exposure to 1's like Nona and Lenehan and Smealie. Could be quite good in 2016.

what is the "john dory" on Kennewell ... is he just saving himself for Aussie schoolboys now?

wasn't there also a 7s thing he was part of ...?

Newington could yet choke on View ... although McGregor ... where is he ...?

no one I guess wants to do a Crichton and miss the BrisVegas gig

Noonan is not returning next year. Other then him, they have both Fenn and Rorke returning in the forwards who have torn up this year, with Rorke being in YEAR 10. They also have Pirina, Scott, Cutler, Lenehan returning, with some solid seconds players coming through.

Kings will have 7 players back who played in the starting first XV plus some very handy 2nds players who were mostly year 11 this year....

I believe Noonan will be back.... He's in year 11 this year

Noonan is in Year 11, HOWEVER will be ineligible in 2016 as he turns 19 next year making him over the age limit.

He won't be 19 until December next year so I'm of the understanding he can play school rugby but as he's turning 19 is ineligible for any rep selection.....

Parents told me at last weeks Scots game that was McGregor was not playing the Scots or Newington games as he has a mild tear in his groin, which he had been playing with for the last month, but didnt know it was a tear. Missing those two games means he wont tear it further and hes been advised he will be at 100% for Aussie schools if he takes the break and treats it. I'm sure he would be massively disappointed to miss his last 2 games, but the risk was too high if he kept playing.

Quick update on the above lists, in 2nd's Ben Wickett finished the season strong after shoulder surgery and ended up #1 in the pack ,Cameron Horne has been playing hooker# 2, Goodman was in 3rds . which means next years front row likely is ,Helu, Horne and Goodman. New will be strong again, but losing lots of firepower in the backline.I expect Bailey Simonsson to have a big season ably supported by Kuenzle and Tyrone the tank !Helu and Lawson to shine up front in the pack,Lawson was outstanding last week. The Wyvern boys should end up joint premiers ,but wont be easy against Iggies who are full of running even without McGregor.
