:/ I haven't received mine yet.

Sounds like a great initiative, although it will mean that I'll have to meet whatever friends I bring after the game.

Only for Foundation members, but if that's you (ie if you were a member last year) and you didn't get one, give the Rebs a call. I know I had to have my foundation status confirmed because I changed my membership type.

Just took a time to arrive. :( Did you really think I wasn't a foundation member?

we are in a world of trouble in the backs for this thursday.
cipriani still gone, mortlock probably out, inman not looking like he's going to return, and kingi an unknown.

against weepu, ranger, nonu, stanley et al.

Fatty Weepu is in disgraceful shape and form, Stanley is a bosher. Ranger and Nonu I'll give you though.

Vuna is an idiot. So, so stupid.

I think our best bet will be:

Stirzaker
JOC (James O'Connor)
Kingi (if fit)
Johansonn
Mitchell
Gerrard
Beale

If Kingi isn't fit, then maybe Hilgendorf to flyhalf and JOC (James O'Connor) to the wing. Either way, it's not looking good.

Stirzaker showed more in his five minutes on than Phipps has all season IMO. I don't know what's up with Phipps this season, but you could be right about his confidence. He had a pretty solid all-round game last year - his running and passing were above average and he threw himself around in defence. This year though, he's just become a bit of a nothing player, not particularly good at anything. We've won one from five games, I don't see the harm in mixing it up again. I agree Phipps will start, I just don't think he should.

I thought while Stirzaker injected a lot of energy, he got caught at the back of the ruck a few times. Probably a) due to the Highlanders intensity b) Our soft attitude c) First game

Hopefully gets some confidence and a better run against the Blues.

Side note, was speaking to some of the Rising folk on Friday night, his been tearing it up for the Rising.

No need for your calm, logical and actually very solid analysis. More frothing demands for sweeping changes please and thank you.

Backs are looking very good. I do prefer JOC (James O'Connor) at inside centre, receiving the ball from Cips.

Can't see Snorky breaking into his own team when they're all fit. Would you really replace Inman?

If Cipriani can play anywhere close to how he played in the first 25 minutes against the Force, JOC (James O'Connor) and KB (Kurtley Beale) should have some fun.

Let's just hope no one shows us how to dougie this week.

Gerrard's not a real winger (too slow), more of a second/defensive kicking full-back. So KB (Kurtley Beale) can attack.
