I'm not sure why they are blowing so hard over Skosan. He's a decent winger but he's played half the game with no one marking him. He should be scoring tries.

I'm disappointed all round but hard to play well with 14 men for most of the game.
I'll watch it again in the morning
I'm off to have a beer

This is embarrassing, a real crisis. You can't beat the Kiwis because they are the best teams in the competition by far, ok. But the Aussies used to be better than tha Saffas, Aussies won the competition in 2011 and 2014. Now there are at least 3 South African teams betters than the whole Aussie conference (Lions, Stormers and Sharks)

All over at 44-14 & at least the journos dont have to think too hard to come up with the "Black night in Joburg for the Reds" headline.

Maybe Duncan should get a shot at 10 next week.

First half 15-0
Second half 29-14

Margin was 15 in both halve but the Lions had a 2 man advantage for 10mins and a one man advantage for 37mins in the second.

The young guys on the bench really stood up I reckon and it shows in that stat.

Slipper saying either snapped Achilles or torn calf.
Non-existent prop depth about to be tested. How far away is Sef?

Yeah we are 3 loss 1 win but really should be 3 wins 1 loss.

What is the answer? I don't know! What went on tonight? No idea but the young ones are stepping up. And I truely do believe if this team sticks together for the next few years it will be strong , positive.

I'm disappointed in the loss but I actually have no answers for why it is the way it is at the moment.
Hopefully the fans stick around and suppoet the boys

Reds will learn from this and they will only get better. Every tem that builds go through losses like this.

I've heard it in the last 20 Reds games, now they have to play against the Jaguares at away, then against the mighty Hurricanes. So they next win will be in April 15 against Southern Kings at home. Another dissapointing season

We beat the Sharks mate. I think you're getting a little carried away.

Reds are still learning. Lots of youngsters playing to a new pattern and getting to know one another. They will get better with time and experience. They seem infinitely fitter than the Tahs.
