Round 5, Sunwolves v Reds, 16/3 @ Tokyo

Adam84

Nick Farr-Jones (63)
All that pressure and try came from Lucas missing touch on a penalty... there's no room for simple mistakes like that... If he doesn't have distance in his kicks then why's he taking them

Shaker

Ron Walden (29)
This is hard to watch. Being completely dominated outside of set pieces. Ugly performance.

Jeez... Reds make a break, run away from their support then get turned over because they're isolated

"rush defence" or just plain offside?

Many of the rucks in that half the outside backs are well in front of where the ball is, let alone the last feet.

Up the Guts

Steve Williams (59)
Reds make an astounding amount of tacklebreaks for a team that struggles so much to get over the advantage line.

I am enjoying the quality of rugby from the Sunwolves…they really are proving to be the real deal this season. Sure not likely finalists but certainly big improvers and playing attractive brand of rugby that will win them more fans as well as get them a couple more wins than last season.

Dismal Pillock

Simon Poidevin (60)
Calling it now Higginbotham's try saver as good as Gregan's legendary shot.

the guy was held up and on his knees and had no leverage. still a munting great effort though

HowFT did "Ben Gunter" not get an aus soup contract?

that Reds halfback and his stupid little step or two before every pass is a wrench in the gears

aside from Reds maul try have they even been in the 22?

Reds a bit reminiscent of the Blues in that there seems stuff-all potential for much invention

Iam liking the crowds they are pulling. How can Sanzaar even be thinking of cutting them.

Lucas is not the No 10 the Reds are looking for. Just another shoveller. Stewart looks better at 15 than 10.

Sunwolves No 9 is a very good player.
Yeh still not solved the 10 dilemma but agree that Stewart looks alright at 15. Booth as half for sunwolves been up there as one of the form 9's for super rugby. Sadly Sorovi I can't say the same.
