He's a quality coach who has vast experience at the top level. Yeah it probably would have been better for a guy like him to take over with more time before the Olympics but that's just the way things worked out.

All the best Andy go get the gold. 7 players on the pitch gotta be easier to manage than Real Madrid.

Oops I missed that, still was a long time ago. 7s tactics have changed a lot since then.

Good to see. It's a tough comp so he will be well tested.

Also good to see John Porch get a run. He showed good speed in the NRC

I didn't realise Cummins was re-joining the Sevens team, that's good news.

You think so? Lacks high end speed for a sevens winger, so he's going to have to play inside and I don't think his skills are good enough on distribution. Still, those picking him are better rugby brains than me.

They seem to have a scattergun approach ATM.
They seem to be signing everyone, and plan to work out who they want later.
    But later is too late!

Cummins is a line out jumping forward in 7's who can play on the edge. He will be used similarly to how they used Jesse Parahi and Ed Jenkins.

Cummins will be great for PR purposes - not convinced he'll have as much of an impact on the field, but hope he goes well.

yeah like hammertime mentioned, i think he will be used as a ball carrying forward in sevens. He is big, explosive and isn't no slouch over 40m either, i think he will be a useful addition.

I think we have enough of those however, we need more speed.

I'm surprised John Grant from Eastwood isn't involved. Over 100kg, 195cm tall and one of the fastest in the Shute Shield. He's also played 7s.

I enjoyed this (https://amp.twimg.com/v/84285770-72c4-4a3a-b18c-e55cae536d3d) and especially the3 concessions at the end around speed and playmakers.

Wondering if Lachie Turner could be an option, as a free agent (to my knowledge)? Unfortunately Sefanaia Naivalu isn't eligible to represent Australia in any form until September, as he's likely the fastest man in the country

Grant seems to have lost his speed, maybe he has been carrying an injury, his latest SS form was not very impressive, unfortunatley.
