Are these peak viewing figures? If they aren't everybody probably went to watch the news/movie channel (it was free last night & probably today)

Just had a look - for the games I have recorded....
Average is slightly up on last year - at low 60s per game.

Disclaimer is that more games haven't made the top 20 cutoff this year

Edit - should also mention some Sunwolves games are appearing this year as well as aussie and kiwi games

Not sure what you mean. I am an Aussie, but now we watch far more minutes of New Zealand derbies than anything else. We do watch some Aussie games but, frankly, have lost interest progressively and inexorably. The ratings probably reflect this trend among rugby afficionados generally, whatever their nationality, in our viewing audience.


We actually enjoy the Shute Shield far more!

Olympic ratings for the women's sevens (These are averages over 5/6 hours & combined regional and metro)

1.07 million viewers for the morning's session with the live final
2.04 in the evening session which would include the replay
