Why is his nickname Sanjay?

Think it's cos he looks like sanjay off Eastenders. Must've had the name for a while mind

Can someone tell me if George North is actually good? He never appeals as a winger of actual quality but my southern hemisphere bias may be showing.

Any citing? There was some discussion over a similar incident involving Dan Carter in the NZL v ARG game.

The hearing is in a few hours -- it's only 4 in the morning in England right now. The video footage just showed Wood crawling back off the ruck, and that's where it looks like Williams catches one of Wood's studs in the forehead. But apparently Wood caught Williams in the head with his shin going into that ruck -- which is why Wood was falling over when he kicked back getting back up to his feet.

But the producers didn't replay any of the possible angles, and only showed the kicking back once. Don't know what evidence there is to go on right now.

(Let's not dredge the Carter one up again. If hands are feet, he kicked him.)

The Telegraph reporting that Wood has apologised to Williams, and

Wood wait to have until 10am on Monday to discover whether he has been cited by Italian citing commissioner Maurizio Vancini for the incident, with any disciplinary hearing to be held within 48 hours from the final whistle on Saturday night.

Here's someone's video of the Wood/Williams incident.

It probably looks worse from the opposite angle which they showed on The Cup Runneth Over last night.

It's definitely a reckless play from Wood. In AFL this would be "kicking in danger."
