The NRL radio shows were apparently full of this rumour over the weekend, the story goes Crichton hasn't been travelling as well as hoped is on big money and the Rooster have offered big money to Shannon Frizell

Yeah, why can't NRL poach more players from the darkness instead. Go for them all. I'm sure BB and Savea would make great league players.

Yeah, just what Union needs. Another failed League player to switch on big money.
:) Just joking!

Was thinking the other day, you rarely see top rate Union players going to League but you do see the opposite. I suppose it’s the allure of money and travel.

As opposed to the old amateur days, when every year another crop of rugby players switched. Many of the older guys here would remember the likes of Hawthorne, Brass, Fairfax, Price and O'Connor just to name a few.

Quality players all of them.

I think that’s just a bit of a pisstake because he likes Sydney, surprised the media are running with it!

However, Campo is putting his hand up for the coaching gig, wants to focus on upgrading skills. Maybe not on his own, but surely could be incorporated into the setup?

Hearing Wisemantel looking less likely.

John McKee, Todd Louden two I've heard as possibly being in the mix.

I know it would be unlikely, but surely throwing some $$$ at Joe Schmidt would be worth it? Yes, he's said he doesn't want to coach for two years, but it's closer to home, less travel than Test footy and a lovely place to live... worst he can do is say no...

If Wisemantel isn't the next Wallaby Coach, he'll be the Attack Coach. Surely. Cmon.

With no top up, Hunt will easily double his $ overseas. Shame - Voted best back and need a solid 12 with foketi @ 13 and Beale @ 15.

Has Cron signed for Japan yet? Cause hearing the front runners being Campo (face plant) and Wisemantel telling us to get stuffed, makes me think, that the Tahs have made a big big mistake. I have always felt Cron was ready and I think even the naysayers would jump at the chance to have him now.
Lack of HC at Super Rugby level or not (I dont feel it was a big deal, its still the same game, its maybe even easier as you are coaching 'better' players so would be exceptional) I think he would have stabilised the side and made them contenders next year, instead we are going backward, one major sponsor has pulled the PIN, and I think we will be last in conference next year.
