I would be surprised if he avoids suspension, as this is now his fourth (?) red card since 2019.....

He copped four weeks after the Bledisloe last year, only reduced from six because he plead guilty as he wasn't entitled to any other reduction for having two prior offences.
I’m thinking it’s more likely to be longer than 6 weeks if anything.

Can they add weeks on for pure stupidity???

So, the 4 teams for the top 14 semi finals have been decided and there were no upsets. Racing beat Stade and Bordeaux beat Clermont. Good news for those teams but bad news for the French XV. I count 16/23 of their best team will be unavailable. With a fair whack of the 2nd XV missing too. They will be blooding a new fly half with Jalibert and Ntamack out.

So, we can probably be a bit experimental. France will still be formidable but will be lacking cohesion.

Also, during one of the QFs, the commentators mentioned that Izack Rodda has the 2nd highest amount of line out steals in the league after Guido Petti.

McReight did his chances of starting at 7 a lot of harm in TT imo. Barely fired a shot unlike Wilson who was pretty outstanding and has 8sewn up.

We'll see in three hours - announcement at 1:30. (Being broadcast on Stan apparently.)

Tim Horan mentioned on wwos that an agreement had been reached with the French around quarantine. Not quite official confirmation, but a good sign that the tests should go ahead.

So no Uelese or Fangia'a. Two uncapped hookers in Longeran and Kaitu'u and 9 caps for BPA.

Timani, Foketi, Swinton, Wells, Leota all lucky.

Team probably already picked. They can try and create more hype and interest out of who replaces the suspended Swinton and injured Perese.
