and we wonder why we cant get or keep crowds of supporters to the game.

SANZAAR offered 2 weeks for Tupou with an early guilty plea but they have appealed.

3 weeks adds in either something during the bye week or the Rebels
4 weeks adds in the Rebels and either something during the bye week or the Hurricanes
If their confident that there is something during that bye week they can use than it makes sense to challenge - the Brumbies game is the key game there. If not there's a bit of a gamble around the Hurricanes game but it still seems worthwhile. Aside from not missing games keeping a clean record for Tupou is a valuable thing for future judiciaries.

as an aside - Why the hell does SA and Argentina get have to say in the Super Rugby Pacific. They are both out of the competition now so should bugger off totally.
Super Rugby Pacific is still a competition run by SANZAAR.
There hasn't been a new body created to administer it.
