Schoolofhardknocks

Frank Nicholson (4)
Parra to beat Easts - close one
Wests to beat Penrith - by 20
Manly to beat North’s in a close one
Uni to beat Gordon could be closer than some think
Randwick to beats Warringah by 15
South’s to beat Eastwood by 15
Coming down form the north coast to watch Eastwood vs South's should be great games in all colts grades looking forward to the finals.

I like to watch

David Codey (61)
Easts to just beat Parra
Wests will beat the Riff
Norths will flog Manly
Uni will lap Gordon
Randwick will trounce the Rats
Souths will beat Eastwood.
IMHO......

The Ripper

Frank Row (1)
Ventured to Milner to watch Woods v Souths. The Souths pack as expected dominated and outmuscled the Woods boys. The Woods are a work in process and will go well next year.

Some big results this weekend which split the men from the boys at the finals time of year. To start some genuine colts rugby discussion feel free to give your on thoughts on the following:

- colts club of the year: for mine it must be Norths or Souths. Norths beating uni twice in both 1s and 2s and finishing (likely 2nd) on the table. I watched both all their sides again Souths and were another level in running physical rugby

- player of the year: noms
* ones - jack Johnson (wicks 7), vinnie (manly 8), john porch (Norths #15) or Matt Hood (uni #15)
* twos - ??

- Sydney colts 1st XV?
Open forum, Norths and Manly front row have dominated with Souths secondrowers. Wicks back row along with Norths finishers in the backline. Some boys like Davis from Rats and Cropley were handy. Close one in the halves with Deegan and Kay
Name your side?

- future super stars?
Matt Phillip from manly and F Natoli from Manly.

- key guys to sign from schoolboys?

- 2014 Grand Final winner?
Randwick v Norths Gf

Norths would have to win by around about 150 and hope that Randwick don't get a 4 try bonus to finish 2nd. Tough ask as an away game for them Ripper.

* twos - ??

I think this is a correct assessment of the firsts GF. Seconds, maybe uni v norths? For mine, it would be tough to go past norths seconds as team of the year.

Beautiful send off too one off the Easts players (James Teague) who tragically passed away last night with both uni and Easts 3rd grade uniting for a post game prayer

I'll start this off and limit myself to the 2nd's and also to Uni as that's who I've seen mostly throughout the season! There have been many outstanding performances throughout the season but from the point of view of consistently good performances I can only comment on those that I've seen week in, week out.

You'd have to have Christian Yassmin (#14 )in there - what an outstanding finisher! Also Dylan Vieira (#15 ). In the forwards I'd include OPL( #1 ), Byron Wicken ( #4/#6 ) and Stuart Mill ( #7 ).

Enjoy the finals everyone! :)
