I thought it was Lawton who said it? Still, though, 2m from your own dead ball line & a full 2m from the touch line & only 3 defenders between you & (your) goal line, it's try time every day of the week & twice on Saturday, innit? Geez.

I'm beginning to think that the Chiefs may have peaked a coupla weeks ago & may struggle v 'canes next week & Clan the week after in Dunners i.e. tonight is their last win for 2015.

It wasn't a ruck though because the previous play was just a tackle and as the Reds player (who hadn't joined the tackle to make it a ruck) went in to compete for the ball that was on the ground, he could do so from any angle he liked.

It didn't "look" right, but the ref got that one right in my view.

I know Cooper has had fuck all opportunities tonight, but I think he needs to take control a bit more, get the runners organised and so on. Genia seems lost half the time when the ball is there to play with seemingly no-one to take the ball. Not blaming Cooper, but there is nothing happening with whoever is doing it currently.

Mate, I'm just having a larf. I honestly don't know when it is a tackle, ruck or anything goes most of the time.

when Genia looks back to see where to pass it that's when you know the team is poorly coached. they should have a set pattern of where to go

What a boon having Retallick back. Sam Cane has been immense as well. 1st pick for black 7..

Agree. Cooper doesn't seem to be "running" the play. Backline looks well disorganised and that is a reflection of what is happening predominantly at 9 and 10.

BP try Ngatai under the sticks, still don't think they'll win again this year tho. OK, TMO has found a knock on so no BP. Won't matter in the long run, but.
