INTERESTING EXTRACT FROM THE ROUND 6 REVIEW:

PREDICTION FROM MARCHED TEN

I’m going with my heart and reckon this will be Shore’s weekend to cause an upset. Shore by 3.

Does August 30th 2014 bring back any memories marched ten....oh that's right it's the last time Shore won a GPS game.....a win this weekend is about as likely as a landslide victory for the Greens on July 2nd.....or Leicester City winning the Premier League...............what.............when..........oh......

Mate, the Shore boys have shown more ticker than any other school in the GPS, Shore still manages to field a crowd week in week out, All i want to see is a good game of quality rugby. A close game is an exciting game for both party's. see how they go on saturday

I know Marched Ten.
They have been close many times since that last win.
Gave Scots a real scare 2 years ago when we thought we'd romp in.
Shore always gives 110%.
The table doesn't reflect the quality of their rugby.
I too am hoping for a competitive game.
And if Scots lose I'm going to be munching on humble pie for an awful long time.

We've had our fun at Rowing, you have always got to stay humble in defeat

Shouldnt be much delay on announcement. This is the best selection lead in they've had for a long time so i'd say the teams are basically selected and just some rubber stamping from round 6.

Anyone want to share what their final predictions for the GPS 1sts and 2nds side will be? I enjoying seeing what other people think when it comes to representative sides.

Farmers will be happy with the liquid sunshine that has been happening on the other side of the divide. Hopefully some makes its way all the way down the Murray.

AAGPS 1st XV ‘Players of the week’ – All 5 rounds

Below, I have listed the team of players with the most points allocated to them over the first five rounds by the GAGR writers who reviewed the matches. With no points allocated in two matches in Round 1, I had to make a call based on the match report. In three cases, my call would have determined the outcome. In these cases, I have decided to list both players.

1 Luke Edwards - Shore
2 Charlie Jeavons-Fellows - Scots
3 Opeti Helu - New
4 Nick Brown - Kings
5 Rory Suttor - Shore
6 Charlie Rorke - View
7 Hugh Green - Scots
8 Michael Fenn – View / Dylan Pietsch - Kings
9 Will Haskins - Shore / Kyle Brown - Kings
10 Max Sinclair - Shore
11 Lachlan Day - Joeys
12 Yirrbi Jaffer-Williams - Joeys
13 Will Terry - View
14 Oliver Smeallie - View / Bailey Simonsson - View
15 Luke Osborne - Kings

Gus Gould and soccer players in a Rugby video?

All they we're missing was Warwick Capper in his gold Lycra shorts to complete the picture.

I don't know if the Rugby squad would be fired up or confused after watching that

Pity that they saw fit to include the word "hate" in the video. I'd have thought that there's enough of that in the world without bringing it in to schoolboy rugby.

70% chance between 7:00 and 10:00am, just enough to make the fields nice and squishy for the first match and then a mudheap for the rest of the day. I well recall a match at Riverview many years ago when there was so much water on the top field (the one closest to their infirmary) there was severe risk of a small boy drowning. At least councils can't close the fields for today's fixtures.
