    Wallabies 2021

On a side note isn’t it nice to be debating the key back positions without the age old interject - “why are we talking about backs when we’re losing the collisions/backs don’t win matches” yada yada yada. The piggies, particularly with a few key returns to come, are looking pretty solid right now.

    Wallabies 2021

Torn on hodge at FB. His long boot got us out of trouble a few times and won us some of the kicking duals which I haven’t seen for a long time, I don’t think that part of his game is the issue. But he wasn’t great under the high ball and positional play was a bit rusty, Genuinely don’t know who...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Interesting quote from Rennie. Tactics were spot on. "We want to play, but we're also playing against a side that doesn't want the ball, so we talked a lot about giving them the ball and ideally in situations where when they kick we can profit from it.

    Rugby Championship 2021

So the ABs have bagged the rugby championship with two games to play, Impressive.

Aisle 302 by any chance? I had the same experience. Made shiggins seem balanced.

I wouldn’t be making too many changes for game one against the Argies. Let’s not kill the momentum. If we dominate game one then sure. Let’s not count our chickens yet.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Yeah it is - but you’d think the first game would’ve brought the crowds being the wobs - then attrition for the second. But it was pretty flat.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Interesting that the winning teams are consistently doing so with less possession.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

No restrictions other than wear a mask when not eating/drinking. It was pretty quiet and not a lot of atmosphere to be honest. Paid for top seats and could have just bought crap seats and sat wherever we wanted. Hopefully some good results might bring back the crowds.

Hope Quade has had his citizenship granted. Based on the current metric for decision making there’s a 50/50 chance he’ll be f@#ked again by Sun.

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

If I was QC (Quade Cooper) I’d be tempted to say thank you and goodnight. What a swansong and a big F-you to Thorne and Cheika. Finish on a high and leave us all wondering what could have been. Unfortunately it will probably head downhill from here. Consistency has never been his strong point. Hopefully the...

    Rugby Championship 2021

Right decision but inconsistent with other accidental contacts with the head deemed poor technique. Either all contact with the head, deliberate or accidental. is a red card, or it’s not. Can’t have it both ways. Head contact is a bloody lottery at the moment. Players and supporters...

Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

Because the 50/50 calls that go against them don’t get noticed as they are hidden behind an avalanche of points and have absolutely no impact on the outcome.

I’m still trying to work out if that’s a typo, a Freudian slip or a deliberate backhand at lol

We struggle with the ABs counterattack and their creativity in open play. The majority of their tries were not actually from set piece/after multiple phases in possession. Still hopeful the more predictable SAF approach may not show us up quite as much. It’s a long shot though.
