    Alan Lewis strikes again

Re: Alan Lewis You could see the players just wanted to throttle him. Shocking shocking performance. Whether its intentional or not he clearly has a thing against the Aussies.

    The Tahs 2009

Think you will find he is out injured for the season. Had a shoulder recon and is expected to be out for 9 months. Was going to be involved with the sevens but is going to miss that as well.

Who went to tighthead 2nd row when Chiz went off? Sharpe or MMM? The scrums for the last 15mins were just as dominant then so I dont think we have too much to worry about in that respect. Gagger - apparently the usual pubs are showing the game in London (the walkabouts/slugs etc) but not sure...

    Peter Hynes

In Lotes defense, having seen him around the team the last 3 weeks, he really is admired by the rest of the team and doesnt act like a dickhead like you might expect. Like Gagger I miss what he brings to the team, but at the same time I appreciate what Hynes has brought in.

Does anyone know anyone that wants a ticket for this game??

You also have to remember that the rest is not just the 80mins on the field on Saturday but actually covers the whole week with a reduced training schedule and allows the players a bit of freedom during the week. I spoke to Robbie on Saturday night but unfortunately I dont remember much of...

    and so onto France

Re 3M and Mumm. In Italy Mumm moved to 2nd row when 3M came off the bench and vice versa for Twickers. Thus I think it is as NAZA said and the fresh man goes to 6. Seems to make sense to me, especially when you are belting them in the scrums anyway. I would be looking at the 5-2 bench. Mumm...

TYS player of the year: Oz v Eng

    3. Baxter 2. Robinson 1. Gits Gits gets a point for a very cool kicking display. His general play kicking was also very good with every most kicks finding the turf in behind Sackey. His covering tackle on Mears was also a clincher. So not a typical game for Gits but in my mind still worthy of a...

    Australia Italy

That occured exactly in line with where I was sitting in the 2nd half and I was surprised when the try was awarded. Had the Italians not thrown their arms up they probably could have still tackled him and is a lesson in playing the whistle. The actual law of Obstruction would probably mean...

    Pom Vs Wallabies

Gagger I am absolutely gagging for this game. Picking up my two tickets from the team hotel tonight and I am quite literally buzzing at work today. Its also happens to be my last day at work in the UK so that is adding to the excitement/tension. If we win I think I might have to come back in...

TYS Wallaby Player of the Year: Italy

I was at the game and his pace around the pitch is such an asset. He also seemed to read the game better than any other forward. Think its a big mistake to drop him.

    Springbokke NH Autumn Tour

Re: Wales vs Springbokke For Wales that Leigh Halfpenny is a bright spark. In the EDF cup game played a couple of weeks ago he made some brilliant runs and drew comparisons to Shane Williams from the comentators. Wouldnt go that far but he does look like he has a bit of class about him. I...

    Dear Thomond ...

    9. Giteau getting tackled high and without the ball right in front of both the ref and a touch judge who did nothing. It really was an amazingly poor performance from Lewis. I was down in the front row watching him warm up and he looked overweight. After a couple of jogs and stretches you could...

    Honkers - a review

Thought Id just drop a quick line to share my experience of the Honkers experiment. Having been to the sevens in Honkers twice before I had high hopes for the whole experiment being a fun one and I wasnt disappointed. While it lacked the whole international flavour of the sevens and the...

onwards and sidewards (???) - Italy

Re: onwards and upwards - Italy Was there anyone else we could have put on the bench? I wasnt able to see any coverage in the week leading up to the game due to spending 60 hours straight at work (had obviously spent too much time here and not enough actually working) and then what seemed...

    Ticket for Italy game

Does anyone know someone that might want a ticket for the game this Saturday. I have a spare ticket that I am happy to give to someone in return for a beer or two. I also might have a spare one for Australia vs France but will keep you posted on that one.
