Maybe they're moving to full strength?

Everything you are saying is correct. The QC (Quade Cooper) issue is a concern but I don't recall having seen anyone actually saying it's because of his defence, the line I recall is more 'were going in a different direction' sure we all that that to mean defence but isn't necessarily so; but let's set that...

Nah, I disagree, while I have no particular love for McGahan, I think we can hardly judge anyone on this Reds team beyond the players individual performances. They are inconsistent yes, but we have seen some of the best defence we have had in years.

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

I generally agree but my concern is that if we look at the guy they were planning on having - Samu, there is no logic to the selections, because Samu he's too short. Once we consider that I can't work out the reasoning and it throws open any of the selections.

    Round 16 - Reds vs Waratahs - Saturday 2 June - 7:45pm @ Suncorp

If you're doing that then there is little reason to not play Kerevi at 13 (shifting into 12 in defence), but I've been really impressed with Kereiv's development of his game adding a genuine kicking and passing game (for a centre).

Legitimate question could you play Beale at 13 and Kerevi at 12?

To look at it from a different perspective, if Toua had jumped just as high as Folau and been cleaned up (as he was & would have) then it's potentially yellow card territory. But because Toua didn't jump as high he's not entitled to any protection. IMO Folau was reckless in the way he jumped...

Jake was (still is) pretty good, I think the biggest problem with him was he was needed to be a finished product before he was a finished product; the other big issue is we were trying to play a style that didn't gell with what he could offer.

    Round 16 - Reds vs Waratahs - Saturday 2 June - 7:45pm @ Suncorp

I don't think Stewart was out of his depth, just didn't have an awesome individual game, but I'd point out that our attack functioned a LOT more effectively with Stewart (and Sorovi) than it has with Lance. Paia'aua looked much better too (likely because not Lance at 10). While not having Lance...

Winning or loosing doesn't mean anything much for us right now. I'd rather all our players focus on their game play and skills Daugunu or Tuttle could easily come in and slot many of those kicks. But getting Stewart some quality time at 10 and looks like we've found one of our best halves...

If we lose the game due to kicking I'm more than happy with that.

Not sure if he can continue to play the ball after the Reds have rucked over. But not good enough from the Fullback, probably why he's being pulled.

And the 'cleanout' coming on top of the tackler.

    Round 16 - Reds vs Waratahs - Saturday 2 June - 7:45pm @ Suncorp

Reds just need to deny the Waratahs any ball. Their forwards are more than enough to battle through against the Waratahs pack and it's pretty hard for the Waratahs to score if they don't have any ball.

    Round 16 - Reds vs Waratahs - Saturday 2 June - 7:45pm @ Suncorp

Nah, Reds just need to hold onto the ball. Stop kicking it away! Unless your deep in your 22.

    Round 16 - Reds vs Waratahs - Saturday 2 June - 7:45pm @ Suncorp

My understanding is it needs to be a 'try scoring opportunity' to be a card.

And the Waratahs need a winner! Too bad.

NAH! I'm keen for both sides to kill each other!

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

Well if nothing else he's far too short (185) to play with Pocock and Hooper. Pocock is probably the best Aussie player in Super Rugby at the moment (or pretty close to), and Hooper is your 'captain till the next world cup', so I don't see how you can play him with the other two. He's not even...

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

Well I'm genuinely not sure if one of those 4 aren't better than Pete Samu (particularly once accounting for fit). Samu could never be anything more than a bench player for the Wallabies in their current configuration.
