BGS's formidable 16C lineup includes the likes of captain Mort Duff (everyone's genuine mate), backed up by brawling captains/vices Mitch Stafford and Brody MacGinley. With genuine blokes like twin threat Hazza and Sam Hele charging hard up the field the match is sure to be a spectacle...

Obviously Matt Marsden deserves a lot of credit (starting with a well-deserved U16 QLD White jersey) for the freakish and spectacular performances he has been putting in week-in, week-out, but I do agree with Yoloruggers when he says that it was a team try. Sam Greene had a spectacular match...

What are you talking about? Marsden has no background whatsoever in league, having played Union since early primary school. This is a ridiculous suggestion, I can't see him turning to league on his own initiative.

Whilst Grammar certainly deserve all the accolades for their performance- not only today, but throughout the season- they can't get complacent. Last time that happened they lost to IGS. Terrace won't be the force that IGS, TSS or NC is, but they shouldn't be disregarded, especially at Tennyson.

The rumour is that Churchie imported new canteen staff for Centenary but they aren't performing as a group to deliver.

I phrased that badly. I don't think a BGS victory is incredibly likely, just that an injury to Third would undoubtedly help their chances. I think that it'll be an evenly contested match, and I'd be looking to see who comes our fit and firing in the first 15 minutes, because the team that wants...

Mitch Third wasn't listed at #10 for TSS on the weekend. Is he injured? You'd have to think in such a tightly contested competition that such a massive loss would make the prospect of a Grammar victory this weekend even more likely. With Patty Morrey and Michael Gilbert hitting fine form either...

    Hooper vs Gill

Most people here would be open to the opinion that McCaw is still the world's premier openside but to dismiss it as "a joke he's even considered in the same league" is pushing it.

This "Pocock myth" wouldn't have anything to do with him signing with the Brumbies, would it?

He wasn't named in the team that went up earlier this week and I'm pretty sure that Lakehm is still struggling with hamstring issues. Hope the rumours are true but I think a comeback against BBC/TSS is more likely.

I think so, but its just a rumour. He still hasn't been able to train properly and I doubt Damon Emtage would want to risk him considering a) his injury-prone nature and b) his lack of match fitness. Zac Laud has been solid at #12 over the past few weeks so he shouldn't be underestimated.

If BGS were to win the premiership, they'd still have to beat TSS and NC. Calling them favourites might be a far stretch, but this weekend's result does increase their chances.

Well the BSHS game was the first time he'd played scrumhalf at Grammar, including this year where he'd only previously appeared at #10 or #15 for the 1sts. He really stepped up yesterday with a high involvement rate, good decision making and quality service to Greene. I didn't really notice...
