2015 ARU 7s Age Championships and Commonwealth Youth Games

I have seen most of these lads play and, on paper, this is a talented squad filled with future stars of Aussie Rugby. Good luck at the games, I hope that they are televised/streamed etc. as I would love to see this group play together.

    NSW Schools Under 16 Championships - 2015

    2. Nicholas DOLLY- Eastwood- MWZ has been the NSW CCC 16's hooker for the past two schools' tournaments, so it is good to see him selected in another representative side; he is a strong player. Good luck to all other boys.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2015

Great game to finish the day: NSW dominated the first half and QLD the second. Standouts from both sides (from my perspective) were NSW 5, 9, 10, 13, 15; QLD 8, 14, 15. It was hard to define who gained dominance in the front row, yet in saying that, NSW won most lineouts and scrums. I enjoyed...

    NSW CCC Rugby 2015-2016

Well done to the 16s - they were a classy outfit and should get even stronger over the next few years. Look out for the CCC teams at this year's Coast to Country Cup (Forster: Sept)

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2015

Congrats to these QLD boys selected. Pardon my ignorance, but can someone tell me: Is that young lad, Kalyn Ponga, still in school, and if so, why was he not selected?

    NSW Schools Under 16 Championships - 2015

Good to see these results. I imagine that the CCC side will hover around the top four for some time, as the talent coming through is extremely strong in the 14s & 15s age groups. This is from what I have seen at regional tournaments - Coast to Country Cup for example.

    Waratah Shield/Cup 2015

Hills Sports won today's sevens tournament to become NSW champs: They were a class above. St Paul's Manly, Westfields Sports & St Edward's Gosford were the other strong teams on the day.

NSW Schools Sevens Tournament: Narrabeen 10/11.6.15

Today's opens tournament was played in wet conditions, yet the level of skill was extremely high and there was some fantastic rugby on show. The standout team on the day were Hills Sports High who went through to become champs, and St Paul's Manly, Westfield Sports & St Edward's Gosford rounded...

NSW Schools Sevens Tournament: Narrabeen 10/11.6.15

This tournament is being held next week at Narrabeen for 16s (Wed) and 18s (Thur). I was wondering if anyone knows which schools have qualified from around the state. The Central Coast Zone was run today with the final two teams being: 16s - St Edward's College, East Gosford; & Tuggerah Lakes SC...

    NSW CCC Rugby 2015-2016

CCC 16s looked very strong right across the park. 7, 9, 10, and their wingers in particular.

    NSW CCC Rugby 2015-2016

I would say 10, however, he has played 9 for the Central Coast rep side for years due to his versatility in both positions and also the fact that he's bigger then the other 9s, they liked his physicality at scrum half. He was, by far, the best 10 at the CCC trials and should do well at state.

    NSW CCC Rugby 2015-2016

Liam Baker is the starting half for first grade, Terrigal (Jeremy Paul is coach). Good player who was picked to start at 10 for CCC, after doig so in last year's side.

    NSW CCC Rugby 2015-2016

Teams have been selected and should be available to view soon. There was plenty of depth in the scrum half position and overall the side looks strong. I was a bit surprised however, as a few 'big names' who I thought should have walked in: Manu (Blacktown 7), Veluka (Blacktown 11), Abdullah...

    NSW CCC Rugby 2015-2016

Stride is still eligible for 16s, so should walk into that side if he stays injury free. I can only comment on the Gosford boys: Abdullah & Grassby should be there with the former in the mix for a NSW spot. There are also a lot of Opens players from last year who are now in year 12, so I am...

2015 ARU 7s Age Championships and Commonwealth Youth Games

Based on the fact that they won the state sevens final you'd imagine he'd be one of many names they should be calling up.
