One player who i think doesnt really get enough raps, is the norths hooker. he was injured during the last few weeks but his early season form was phenomenal. not the most explosive but does all the fundamentals right, Ritchie is his name I think

yes padua forwards dominated the second half after a lacklustre first but couldnt convert pressure into points, scored a try to bring it back to a contest for a large part of the second half but were killed off by a late TGS try against the run of play.
Padua beat Waitaki High School by a Try and Orminston 1st XV by 5 or 6 and beat St. Columbans 55-0. Lost to TGS on Sunday 5 tries to 2. Waitaki also Beat St Pats and Villa
