It looks as if Waverley won't be as strong this year,
from wandering round the fields of 'Death Valley', these blokes
are not the biggest but they have a mean and tough game.
I think loss of Jack J and Will P will hurt
Speaking with a few of his school team mates and parents, Orr will be fine if reselected for tour, i was hearing estimates of a week or less till he can start training with it again.
PS. Also have heard along the grape vine, Fakaseiola the reserve 8 has sustained an injury to his leg, can...
Lee, who else could replace Nadruku, Orr and Kavapalu? I believe they're 3 players who represented themselves skill wise, supremely, during the Tongan game. My bets on Robinson to fill next position, with little or no changes to Australian forward pack who dominated the Tongan pack, even when...
Why are they missing 2 players ? Clark is the only one who got red carded. If you were there observing at an even viewpoint you would know that yesterday trinity unleashed some of its best footy all year.
i support this heavily, more then 3/4 of the players in super rugby never made NGS or NTS( as it was) but were sought out later playing grade and colts. Looking at a program last year of the under 16's tournament, theres a list of about 20-30 players who have gone through that championship. 30...
my moneys on Chrichton to have his 8 jersey waiting, strong player who dominates physically and rarely tires out on the pitch. Saw him play at state champs last weekend and was astonished at his speed and figure throughout the game
predictions for this weekend anybody?
Trinity over Alos
barker over cranbrook
knox over Waves= an upset i believe as knox are developing some momentum coming out of the CHS game with some great individual performances
Sy lagaia and Peter Evans are the supposed coaches.
When will teams be updated on the SJRU website? Interested to see if a few boys will be omitted and included
No reputation involved whatsoever, past achievement and present performance combined.
Just wait and see what the teams, when announced present, a red face you will have Hang 5. ;)
May i also include that looking back at last years program, yes i keep the programs LOL,
only 8 out of the 25...
individually those players were fantastic, i viewed sunday mornings games and thought they were superb and were part of a lacking team. a reminder that again AN INDIVIDUAL position is based upon INDIVIDUAL performances, isn't it?
and i add those wests players have a lot of previous rep honours...
i'll take a stab,
1. Maile- Syd Uni/Winterburn- Norths
2. Coffill- West Harb
3. Fiala-Motu- Randwick
4. Taylor- Parramatta
5. Matairavula- Parramatta- Not an 8, strong runner and light as a feather these days
6. Orr- West Harb
7. Taweel- West Harb/ Morris- Norths
8. Moala- West Harb
9...
That's all against trinity HiTh... This forums for explaining why each team may or not be performing, ofcourse a whitewash of trinitys team last year would give anticipation to everyone for a 2nd year, the players are still there and no one understands why... THAT'S WHY there are still...
Trinity aren't dominating the selections what so ever, they have been hard done by in my opinion. Representing only 3 positions in the 1sts team is a good achievement but expectation would have been much higher. Ofcourse a selector will focus on the better teams but when it comes to selections...
