Feels like a perfect storm.

Don't think NZ know what's about to hit them.

Complacent half-arsed AB side vs Japan's kamikaze mercenary frankenmess who are primed, preened and clearly better coached. JJ and Tony Brown WILL have a cunning plan. FFS it wont even have to be that cunning to outwit the doe-eyed drongo at the AB helm.

Fuckbrained Fozzie probably has no idea about the frankenfreak poach about to trot out at #8 for Japan. Ax murder on toast.

That said the J-bench doesnt look flash, maybe Mounga or someone can run amok in the last 10 and bail the stupid "brand" out

Other than the midfield the starting team looks like it's got a good mix of experience at every other position grouping: veteran front rower (Coles), lock (Retallick), loosie (Cane), inside back (Mo'unga), outside back (Reece).

I don't think Japan's upset strategy of high-tempo rugby matches up well against the AB's, so really should be safe. Seeing how the defence matches up against Tony Brown's offence will probably be the most beneficial outcome of this match.

Would like to see some of the power game rolled out from the start. Though this backline selection means Clarke would have to do a lot of work there, which isn't really a bad thing, considering how well he can go taking the ball from close to the breakdown.

^ Jordie, I think. All Barretts have rejoined the squad.

Old Man Coles has hurt himself in the warmups, Samisoni will start.

Unable to make any inroads physically whatsoever and reduced to plodding away in their own half then its fuckit, just kick it away
