very good performance from Auggies. They have lost nothing from previous years. Strong games from 6,7,8 and 13 with the 12 being the best player on the park. Thought the big prop from Waverley (number 1) was very strong.
I heard that there was 3 or 4 starters still to come into the team once S G Ball is finished

I believe St Augustines rested about seven players from the match, has Waverley got any players to come in?
Remember this post from 2011
Will they play again this year?

It was great to see Trinity win some silverware last year as it had been a while. When I was in the CAS system it was really only Knox, waverley and barker with the occasional cameo from cranbrook etc. it's great that the comp is so even. How are Alos these days?

Run down of potential trinity 1st xv:

Orr to be deadly this year as prop, added training with talent squad. potentional aussie schoolboys
Morsello dangerous player as always, heard he has been training hard during offseason and preseason with his throw-in
Sati0u is back for his 2nd season in the 1st xv, perhaps the best tighthead in the cas competition and nsw
Hurst to possibly make an appearance, speed and game fitness required by the best of flankers, able to secure the ball like no other, pilfers like pocock
Appearance of a Ola Moala? Possible no.8 or blindside flanker, regardless, the best ball runner in the competition by far, with malaki afele.
Malaki , may have to slot in as a secondrower with the disappearance of Harrison Orr, all round unit. definetely making rep teams this year
Whicker to play scrumhalf, great defence , experience with rep teams
Clark best fiveeighth in cas by far. will have no competition, extraordinary passing game, great kicking game, very explosive. has improved on his defense, last i saw has put on some size too
Pack back from injury, maybe have lost size due to his rehab. maybe this will allow him to boost his speed? will be great this year watching him run
Roberts possibly the fastest on the team, however defense lets him down, prone to injuries. word going around that he has lost his 'touch'
Clunies-Ross fast, tall, greatball skill, great vision, most extraordinary footwork, if he wasnt so prone to injury, could have given cam clarke a run for his money

others in contention/injury/unknown:

D.Hazel - currently injured from what ive heard, but if he recovers may slot in to 2nd row, tall and aggressive, good workrate
Jackson - Big unit from the country, good ball runner
Coffil - sydney 16s rep, played as hooker, but with morsello in the mix, may be trialling for 7.
Corias - Dad is head of friends of rugby, may pull some strings for him. decent player though, not the best.
S.Kerr - most likely 1st xv scrumhalf, however with surgery, his season has been cut short. will be returning for 2nd rounds against cas schools, will be great to watch him back on the field

Don't know who you've been talking to but a lot of those players will be out for several weeks of the season due to injuries.
Alloys on the other hand have been importing like crazy.
Apart from there stars already ie.
Luky (the tank) vevers
They have a new no.8 Paul Situolua and SG ball with Newcastle knights. Massive lad and very versatile
And apparently Sean Townsend hit the juice putting on 20kg and is lightning quick
And also a new centre someone kefusone very strong ball runner should link well with cas fly half Luke v.

Good on aloys, at least now their losing margin will slightly decrease.
Sean Townsend couldnt play rugby to save his life. Good to see how a league player goes in schoolboys rugby.
Shame that trinity playrs will be injured, sounds like you know a lot about what's going on in the school.

Yes this is true. He also ruptured his Achilles and will need a complete reconstruction, out for 1 and half, maybe 2 seasons. Waste of a pathways, IMO.
From what I hear, a milan volavola will be stepping in as fly half? His brother Ben volavola is in the waratah squad and played first grade for west harbour. From what I hear, Milan's skill with the ball already pass Ben

Specialist has determined that he will never be able to play professionally as reconstruction as serious as his will mean that contact sport is a definitive no go for the young man

With regards to Clark, does anyone know anymore about his replacement Volavola? I have seen his brother play, tons of ability, will be interesting to see if he steps up to the plate

My final conclusion, knox look to have this season in the bag

Quite optimistic there...things were said of a talented Knox side last year. Before injuries, selection and other woes hit them.

I am not saying you are wrong, but strange machinations up at Wahroonga do occassionally derail the rugby aspirations up there...

Tayleb Hassan is a major threat in the back with an amazing passing game and incredible kicking game, he will be hard to stop
