Tbf fair about the 93 season, it was a very talented comp. Everyone automatically thinks of Scots decimating Joeys (yes, one of the best days ever) but they narrowly beat high, won on the bell against Kings & lost to New in the trials to come from behind in the comp match. But the 93 was loaded with talent @Joker

Anyway, IMO toughest game to tip this week is Shore v New. I know it's early but and New supporters have any news about team list. Is Ata playing etc ? Shore injuries ?
I think my View team will go down to the cattle dogs as they looked spent after last weeks game and Joeys have sprung to life with their players returning.
Kings too good for Scots now they have a sniff of IMMORTALITY !

To be completely honest, this forum shouldn't be discussing 'imports' etc., as none of us really know what goes on in terms of scholarships, and i think you'll find (as a teacher I know this), that all AAGPS schools run under the same point system that dictates how much money they can put towards scholarships, its just that some schools but it to different things then others.

Regardless, lets just focus on the talented footy that is put in front of us and the amazing athletes that we get to watch each Saturday.

Riverview V Joeys this week in the Shole of Hunters Hill. 1s battling it out again which last game at Leichardt was outstanding game as Joeys looking for redemption as View 1s looking to prove more people wrong. 2nd's in for a huge game as well as the last occurence ended up in a draw, aswell as the 3rd's from Riverview looking to cop a Dub over Joeys after beating Kings on the weekend.

Word going around at King's is that numbers will be less this weekend against Scots, however if anything is dictated from last weekend it is that King's boys will be loud regardless of numbers.

My son says the Year 12 current cohort is the rowdiest year group within the school, which will provide energy and spark to the King's crowd alongside the band. Additionally, The War Cry Captain will give away his position at homecoming to the next person in line which has the Year 11 boys all coming this weekend, trying to prove themselves.

Culture is thriving again at King's I must say. As an old boy myself, I'm proud to see the tradition being carried on.

My prediction: King's will win by a few.
