I was worried about these two games but that has changed.

The Brumbies are a young squad and i think the experience and the big match experience should get the Reds up. Nerves and pressure to back up last season will be tough to handle for the Brums.

As Scoey says, many Tahs will have had small pre-seasons and little time off after the longest season ever this year. 70 odd days to go without including pre-season games, not long to bring it together with the majority of key men still on holidays.

Taking the Red blinkers off now, i will not be putting money on the conference winner. All 3 sides are quality.

So Van Humpries is still training with the Reds... Maybe he has been brought into the Reds academy since McDuling was ruled out, anyone know?

Also, this is a good sign at least:

Van is still training with the Reds as his contract does end until 31 December. When i saw him at the Reds ball he said that he can't play on because of an injury.

On Tuesday, I posted: 'I think that Frisby will get the half back job with Lucas been the 9/10/12 utility.
Link will remember the chronic 10 problem and make sure he has plenty in reserve for that position, including Lucas.
Having said that I'd imagine that both are training heavily in the 9 position, and that the trials will determine who gets the jersey.
Who else can be an understudy for half back'.

My prediction looks to be coming true
Rookie Nick Frisby set for extended run as halfback for Queensland Reds

BABY-faced rookie Nick Frisby is set to be Will Genia's halfback replacement at the Queensland Reds and the No.9 master is adamant his apprentice will rise to the occasion.
......Frisby and utility Ben Lucas are the main contenders for Genia's No.9 jersey but it is likely Frisby will get the job because he is a specialist halfback.

Lucas could very well be the most under rated player in Australia. He must be our backup 10 because he played some fine rugby there last season. I see no issue starting him at 9 though as he is of more value on the field than off it. What I saw of Frisby last year was very really good so I think we are well served at 9 regardless of who gets the gig.

Fly half is Lucas' best position. I want him to stick with it solely as soon as possible for the rest of his career. But I don't see Frisby as a Super Rugby halfback. Who were the best half backs in this years Prem Grade and Colts and GPS competitions this year? Are they training with the squad?

'The Code' briefly touched on the Ballymore project in Episode 4, sounds like it could be on the cards to start construction in 2013, sounds like its going to be a lot different to the one approved a couple of years back. Anyone know anymore about this?

I missed ep 4, what did they say exactly? I wonder if there's anywhere online where I can catch up???

This is the 2013 Jersey. Just saw one up close in Rebel in the city. The only noticeable change is that "The Mac" logos have been shifted slightly lower around the neckline. Otherwise it's same as 2012.

I thought the 2013 jersey had a 150year commemoration logo on it, this one doesn't...

Well the mock jersey behind QC (Quade Cooper) in the press conference had the 130 logo but it wasn't on the ones in the shops.

Nigel Genia is back training with the squad and Ben Meehan is in the Reds Academy
