Fwoaaahh. That looked bloody good Aussies. Smashed 'em bro.

Foley turned into Dan Carter ala 2005. Foxsports gave him a rating of 9, very harsh. The Pooper combo is just stupid good.

So many teams that could win it this year! (not England) :)

Cheiks might need to give Phipps a sedative before he comes on - was too eager. Calmed down OK after that, but there were some anxious moments.

True, but the most costly one wasn't completely his fault. Halfback looks up and sees yellow jersey, throws the pass and Fardy ducks? If you're in that channel you have to be ready to catch the ball when it comes at you.

Was this match for the Cook Cup? Probably not.. We need the classic Twickers victory photo from the ice baths drinking beer from a Cup.

Inside Shoulder

Wondering if there is a master plan after all: Foley scored from an inside ball and an inside step with a lot less shovelling to Izzie. England covering the wide ball forget about the shorter and inside ones.
Sensational effort: at the ground the low swinging chariot was in full voice before kick off and the atmosphere was very tense. A credit to the boys that they came out with the crowd well against them and beat them across the park.
Izzie injured I think: any news on the TV feed?

Same. Been up all night. Then AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) goes and passes the pill in the last minute of the game, so I'm back on the beer at 7am. No hope for any sleep now.

Will just have to watch the replay with a smile from ear to ear.

The Federal Dept of Australian Citizenship have been monitoring SuperBru footy tips as well and there are about 54 tipsters in the G&GR pool that can expect a phone call on Tuesday. 30 tipped the Soap Dodgers and 24 were too nervous to even tip.

I tipped us by 3 tries to 2, so I went reasonably close, HJ!

The teamwork to regroup was excellent. There was a shot where players were all talking to Phipps while England lined up the penalty after his 2 grassed passes. After that he came good and only had one more pass issue where he was caught at the back of a ruck.
Good management and belief to keep him from imploding.

Great Wallabies match will go down in history as a milestone win. Ref was fair I thought, England mentally unwarpped before the yellow card...

The destruction absolute annihilation of the Soap Dodgers scrum today must rank up there with the 1984 Grand Slam Wallabies pushover try against Wales.

That moment is etched into my brain. I can still feel the euphoria I felt then. But this feels better, because it wasn't just once, it was multiple times.

I have waited 12 years for payback. The "incident" in 2003 was tough to swallow, then we weren't good enough in 2007. We never had a chance at them in 2011. I finally feel released from the torment.
