Well done to Italy at oranges - very smart game having to play about 3/4 of it in their own half. Good box kicks to land near to touch.

Wallabies ball too slow - have to get their big men to the breakdown earlier as in the first half in Brisbane.

Poor discipline - 9 penalties and turned the ball over 12 times. Poor play but most forced by opponents.

Come on boys - show improvement during a game and how about a few box kicks too?

Pretty disappointed Francois.

On a side note I would like to see Quade set up for the drop goal occasionally. Sometimes you'll sense that there is no likelihood of a penalty or a try, as the opposition defence is easily coping with what you are throwing at them. At those times a drop goal can have a huge effect on the opposition moral. Whilst I would prefer to see Australia win with some fluid wide-running rugby, true masters of their respective games can use all aspects of the required skills.

For example, whilst the Beale grubber to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) almost came off, it really was a very low percentage play to begin with. Presented with static and a strong defence the Wallabies are more inclined to let one of their brilliant players try a one in a million play rather than play the percentages and increase the pressure on the opposition. With the subsequent increase in pressure and the drop in morale, gaps will appear elsewhere that QC (Quade Cooper) and genia can take advantage of.

Sleepy is over!

Very good run from Diggers, some great runs & backing up from Samo, keeping it alive with Genia & Cooper, Alexander spots the gap & goes for it. Thats more like it!

EDIT & forgot Beale also.
