Sorry to hear that Belly. The Two Blues were OK in the trials. Can I humbly suggest that you have a look at fitness. I guess that wouldn't have made a difference as they were down lots after 30 minutes however I did notice the forwards may have been a bit chubby and may have struggled with the speed of the game. They are a better team than the recent results suggest IMO.

Fitness is a massive concern, and one that we are well aware of

5/6 in Round 4, and close on some margins. Wicks and Pirates were the surprises.

Round 5 Tips
Home teams looking good.

Eastern Suburbs v Northern Suburbs. Should be a belter of a game. Beasties at home should give them an advantage for a skinny victory by < 7.

Eastwood v Parramatta. Woodies will cruise to a big victory by >20.

Manly v Gordon. Manly won't lose focus for the last 15 minutes again. MMM by 15+

Penrith v Randwick. Wicks in a canter by >30.

Southern Districts v Sydney University. Hobbits backline looks impressive. Corporation lacking mongrel up front. Hobbits by 15.

Warringah v West Harbour. Rats to bounce back and get the chocolates by 10-15.

I notice Andrew Deegan has been named at 10 in 1sts for the Wicks and also at 15 in 2nds. I know these young guys are fit and maybe he needs some playing time to warm up for the Aust U20s, but seems a bit much to ask ;)

What has happened to Eni Folau and Dashville Kuate at Randwick?

Kuate was injured (knee?) in the 1st round agst Eastwood and is recovering. Not sure about Folau -- not named in the teams this week and I don't think he played last week either, although named in 2nds.

Saw all the Wicks team lists on their web site. Awesome work by the unpaid intern from Coogee Oval. :D
I suspect that they had Horwitz originally listed as the 10 for First Grade, and when he was on the Bird to NZ, they moved Deegan up to the ones, and forgot to backfill him on the 2's list.

Where is HQ Wicks now that the Brook Street bunker has been liquidated?
Coogee Bowlo or do they have some Office space up at Latham Park.

What is happening to the former Community space/Senior Citizens rooms at Coogee Oval? Will there be some sort of grandstand, clubrooms, upgraded Canteen or Rugby Admin space in the re-development?

Just a reminder 7mate are showing Warringah and West Harbour on Sunday at 2pm.

I went to record this afternoon but couldn't find it!

^^Remember that the Tahs v Horrorcanes is on early though - 2:30 kick off our time.

Inconvenient if you want to watch local grass root footy live and don't have Foxtel IQ.
