Very true and sad to see it has not warranted discussion previously on this thread, the WH leadership needs looking at itself.

Thought lane was fantastic and he prevented a few tries with some great defending
Also Lucas kept the Marlins going when that last twenty slump looked a possibility again
Overall Marlins too strong

Like the bit about 1.04 in, Lane sees something calls for a flat ball out in front, Lucas places it there, and first phase try.

Some well taken tries there but, as a MTB fan, some below-standard defence - individually and as a team. But credit to Manly for taking the opportunities.

Wicks won all 4 grades today.
24 (3 tries) -20 (2 tries) in firsts, close game right to the end.
Horwitz, Kellaway and Robinson apparently not allowed to play 2 games in 3 days and Carraro watching from the sidelines.
Good performances from Freier (started), Anderson, Roods, Satuala and Hanigan with Hoiles and Phibbs coming off the bench to close out the game.

Uni equal 2nd ,come Saturday evening. Interesting, with whom and who leads?

I think its plausible that Randwick beat Uni with both teams getting a bonus point.
With Matt Lucas playing, Manly gets up over Southern Districts- again bonus point for both sides. Also assuming Manly will roll Eastern Suburbs tonight.

So I have Sydney Uni , SD, Randwick co-leaders on 51 points. Followed by Eastwood, Manly 49, Northern 48, Eastern 47, Warringah 45.
6points separating the top 8 - very tough competition.

Bonus points for Souths in all four grades this evening. Big effort from a number of the Wests players playing two games in the lower grades.

That was a better effort in D hey Gunner
Yeah thought both sides could have capitalised on attack more though
Two or three times easts let manly off the hook with bad choices upfront close to the line
All four centres could have blown game open on more than one moment but other than GP? Once they didn't do the right thing
Wasn't a bad game but wasn't a classic either, but night game at Manly with trip to 4 pines before is better than most

Bugger. Sat in the grandstand without my glasses and watched Manly attack the far end of the ground all through the first half and then Easts attack the far end of the ground all through the second half. Memo to self - remember glasses.
Boy that Lane can tackle.
