Forshaw park usually hosts the Colts Finals Series each week,

If they host 4 Grade QF next week, then Colts will be looking for a venue for their Saturday games.

Given above, I reckon:
Uni 2 Oval
Uni v Woodies (1)
Woodies v Uni (2)
Uni v MMM (3)
Uni v Wix (4)

Forshaw
Hobbits v Wix (1)
Wix v MMM (2)
Woodies v Beasts (3)
Beasts v Hobbits (4)

NSO
Shoremen v Rats (1)
Beasts v Rats (2)
Rats v Shoremen (3)
Shoremen v Woodies (4)

How is it possible for the Norths halfback to drop the ball at the back of the ruck and it be ruled a knock back. This occurred after the bell. Halfback even dobbed himself in by looking at the referee.

Congrats to all the finalists - I said with a round to go I reckon the team placed 5, 6, 7th can win it - yesterdays games proves that could be possible.

Another game in which we were ahead at full time - 25 phases later. Nobody can say the Marlins didn't put in 80 plus minutes yesterday - the scoreboard reflected the tightness of the game.

I think Woods will take it, and i hope it's a Woods v Rats final.

Fishing season.

That being the case both the Woodies and MMM's have a problem with reserves for 2nd grade.

There is no prospect of swapping games and given colts games equally no chance of moving NSO to the Saturday and Forshaw to Sunday. I think I am correct on that ?

Yeah just rewatched it saw that - in the context of the game and the season there were some howlers compared to that that went against us. An example would be Kotoni's pilfer against Easts and Pulvers hide and seek behind his own player moments later in the same game. Yesterdays knock on yeah shit happens

Player on the year is wide open given the closeness of the competition this year. Perhaps Hamish Angus, Jai Ayoub or Jake Gordon.

Coach of the Year. Tim Davidson will be there or thereabouts. Maybe Simon Cron to go back to back as COTY.

Referee:?

Rookie: Christian Kagiassis, Ed Craig, or Nick Kellaway.

Jake Gordon is my pick for POTY
Simon Cron COTY
Nick Kellaway for rookie (but I obviously saw a lot more of him)

What Waratahs can we expect to see parachuted into finals?

The odds on the Wix going deep into the series will depend on supplementation from Moore Park.

Against the Woodies, The Corporation may need some assistance from their paratroopers. Although, if beaten, as the minor premier they have another life in week 2 as the highest ranked loser.

Sir Roden Cutler Shield spends another off season on the beaches :) .
Wish it was a bit further South - but hey the beaches will do me.

Any idea on what is being televised? Will Seven do same as least year, and show the two "better" quarters, both semis and the final?

Admittedly, I've taped last weeks game, and haven't had a chance to watch it.

Bob Davidson (42)
NSWRU website now has the details and it shows Wicks v Southern (Sat) and Norths v Rats (Sunday) kicking off at 3:10pm so they must be the televised games this weekend. Assume they will do both SFs next weekend.
