Reds too good. Brumbies were very average.

I knew they had this after defending that 27 phase opening 4 minutes.

Expecting ASY (Angus Scott-Young) to get a decent rest for punching and kneeing Slipper in the back of the head though.

27 phases, 26 were rugby league'ish with only with two passes or less, to open the game was a big workload to start with.

IMHO Brumbies need to go back to the drawing board. Game play, selactions, pretty much all of it really needs to be reconsidered.

Great win to the Reds, technically a 'winning streak'. Pretty complete performance.

Negated the Brumbies mauls and mauled well themselves. Also, some brilliant long range tries which have been fairly absent from Suncorp for a few years. Scored 5 tries, 5!

Pete Samu looked ineffective starting, maybe keep him as a finisher, same goes for Thor.

I'd imagine that would've been a pretty awesome match to watch live, good work for the fans who turned out in the heat.

I thought the try where Kerevi went quick to Naivalu was pretty decisive. Brumbies seemed to be coming back into it and there really wasn’t anything on.

I’ll admit that I was dubious whether Kerevi actually had the game to be a good 12, but I’m very happily eating humble pie.

Far out that was a disgusting game to sit through at the ground so I have to give it up to the Reds Conditioning team both the physical and nutritional side on that to keep the lads functioning.

Something about the Reds captializing on those mistakes by the Brumbies reminded me of it being very kiwiesque. So I'm glad to see they're developing the skill of playing 'whats in front of them'. Shame about the handling mistakes letting them down on building consecutive phases though.

I think mature is the best description of that win by the Reds, seemed to be in positive control and not too flustered throughout the entire game. Impressive for such a young group of guys.

That is as my take on it too. Long way to go, but that was a pretty decent dig.

I was going to accuse the Brumbies of being the Jeckyl and Hyde of Australian Rugby, but I guess the Reds are a bit similiar ( if maybe with a lower peak at this time).

Good performance from the forwards. Whatever their form has been this year, beating up on the Brumbies forwards is no mean feat.

A really solid performance by the reds there. They looked quite composed for long stretches and didn't commit to really risky play.

Patience was what impressed me the most. The reds seemed willing to bide their time and trust themselves to hold and wait for a decent opportunity to pounce instead of trying to force something that wasn't on. I haven't seen that in any game by the reds since Link was coach (there have been winning performances by the reds in the interim - but none with the control of that game).

Kudos to the reds and their coaching staff for that performance. More of that would be most welcome.

The Reds really strike me as being a bit like France, capable of stringing together terrific rugby but can also throw in some torrid games. More of what we saw today, please.
