Bugger - Nangus has already been used.o_O

North Rocks - Suburb near Carlingford and home to the North Rocks Junior Rugby Club. Home base is Kingsdene Oval. Top Whistleblower Stu Dickenson is a former North Rocks player.

This fills the gap from the Yellow card for Newnes..

Next town is an E from Killarney Vale.

Ocean Shores just North of Byron. This town has a 1/2 decent golf course and a farmers market on Tuesday mornings where you can source organically farmed beef for your own pies.

Humble Pie Company, Billinudgel is a few kms up the Pacific Highway (on the opposite side)!

Esperance (WA). Mr Doug met a 'special' lady who now lives there. Also knew a farmer who bought a property over there and drove from NW NSW to sow his wheat crop, returning later in the year to harvest it! Plenty of "road kill" (mainly 'roos and emus) in WA for lovers of 'game' pies!

Inverell - This town sits astride the Macintyre River and Gwydir Highway. As well as gemstones, "Sapphire City" also produced Nathan Tinkler, Rick McCosker and Steve Elkington and is the home of the Mighty Inverell Highlanders Rugby Club. After a long absence, this was re-established in 1951 by Jim Gardiner (Joeys) and his boys Jim Jnr and Dick (both Newington).

Not an Entry but an addendum to the previous Auburn entry to add some colour and a rugby reference to this frequently referenced town.

From the NSW CCC 2013 Schoolboy Rugby thread. This lad has made the Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) Under 18 Rep team:
John Leger Trinity Catholic College (Auburn, Secondary School)

Lisarow NSW Central Coast. I know Lisa, but she sews rather than rows. Vilis pies available at the Lisarow Railway Station.

Cyril Towers (30)
Wycheproof in the Mallee in Victoria. Home of the worlds smallest mountain. They have a "king of the mountain" every year where the lads run wheat sacks full of dirt to the top of Mt Wyche to get it over the required height. Pies are probably Gillies Pies from Bendigo, which is no bad thing.

Frankston - Vic. The Auburn of Melbourne. They would only have mince pies here as teeth are seen as surplus to requirements.

Does the Dava Disco still run in Frankston? Mate of mine from College was always rabbiting on about how awesome it was. Never made it there myself.

On a side note, I hear on the radio this morning that Bland Shire (around West Wyalong) is thinking about arranging sister city relationships with Dull, Scotland and Boring, Maryland, USA.

I heard dress regulations were matching thongs and a four tooth minimum to get through the door and that was for the chicks:)

Brings back memories HJ. Some of us got sick of the long bus trip from Quirindi to Inverell, so we chartered a Cessna 210 to enable us to arrive in time for Mr Doug to play in the reserve grade match!!

Ebenezer NSW. 5km from Wilberforce CBD. The Church here is the oldest Church in current use in Australia (from 1817). Nearest Footy club would probably be Hawkesbury Ag.
