Frisby/Cooper axis should be good an gelled as they've been playing an training together for something like 8-10 weeks now. Also looked good against the Lions, Frisby has improved markedly this year.

Will be hurting for grunt in the pack though. I'd like to see the Reds play a game similar to the one against the Lions. Stay away from the breakdown/set piece and run them off their feet.

At least you'll get a decent conversation out of us. Or do you like the quiet, silent type?
quiet "smiling type" more like it...watching on Rugby HQ last night , he looks like the happiest football player on the planet...i'm hoping thats the case and he signs up soon. Any word on when that will be by the way?

There was a bit of wink wink nudge nudge going on last night, but he said his future will be sorted within the next two weeks. When he was asked if he was staying with the Tahs he let out a big smile which I took as he is but I'm sure league will try and make a desperate last play for him.

Let me know when they are going to make the"play for him". We can get JOC (James O'Connor) and KB (Kurtley Beale) to take the headhunters out .....that should be enough to ensure their pitch will be somewhat lacking the next morning. Could be JOCs payback to rugby.....chief saboteur........

Yeah when asked if he would consider any other AUS franchises he said with a big grin, "Nah if I stay with Rugby it'll definitely be with the Tahs". That's the first time I've heard him use the word "definite" so I'd say that he's pretty much ready to sign with the Tahs. I don't doubt that RL will make one last big play for him though.

The contracting with Izzy sure as drawn out, by the end of it you would almost think Izzy will have been given the CEO's carpark and the car that goes in it!

scaraby, I'm sure it's still against Australian law to kill a person for trying to poach a sportsperson!!

These matches usually have plenty of feeling.

Both teams desparate to win.

Wallabies will perform well because of Link's presence as it may be the last opportunity for some of them to be directly compared to incumbants and given the chance to play against the Blacks.

IMO it will be a very tight contest. Reds by 5

yikes, No Will Genia or Horwill either. Many people going to make the effort to head out to ANZ?

I'll be be there in my Reds gear, along with another Reds supporter.

Last game Reds vs Tahs game I went to in Sydney wasn't pretty though, although the Reds did go on to win the title that year.

Horwill and Genia are massive losses for the Reds, almost to the point that the Reds pack won't be nearly as effective without those two. Do you know why CFS wasn't selected? Injured or not considered? And I assume Harris has been pretty good in club land over the break?

Genia is a massive loss but Horwill not so much - Genia is way out there as the best and big Ed will do his tradesmanlike usual performance. Think the Reds piggies will be effective - my worry is the backs (without Genia) will not take all the advantage that Genia provides.

Good luck to "The Frisbee"

Hmm I'm still emotionally scarred after been at ANZ last Saturday, I might have to watch this one from home.

I'm going - being an ANZ stadium member means it's essentially free (company paid the membership in 2000) so had booked tickets from pre season. But being a member means I get to park and watch from the opposite end to almost everyone else, so I wont see any of you plebs, mwuhahahaha :)
