RG should never been re appointed glad that has finally been dealt with.
Joint co coaches, whilst we have an international search (again?) Please this isn't under 12s with parents sharing roles. One boss! Both these guys wanted the head coach role and will struggle to work together all the while knowing that the current board is out looking for a new HC especially if both assistants re apply (and they will). Don't expect a dead cat bounce. Might win this weekend just because Rebels are coming back from a Sth Africa tour but do we have the cattle to have an improved season sadly no.
Do the co-coaches get to recruit and attract new players? No, not while no one even knows who will be coaching next year. Cordingly as list manager has been ineffectual and he is still there he needs to go now. Carmichael will be gone very soon and then we will have new Ceo search. The Reds are in for a lot of long term pain, but at least we have turned the corner.

Well that's a better birthday present than anything else I've received.

It's still an absolute disgrace that he was allowed to continue into the 2016 season though.

Haven't seen any news (although I haven't looked through previous posts) on what they are going to do for the rest of this season. Anyone got any details yet?

Stiles and O'Connor are co-interim Head Coaches.

Why would White leave Montpellier? He's in the top 6 with a 7 point gap between 7th place, and a nice squad that will probably only get better with the potential additions of Tomane and Nadolo.
Why would you want White either? He's such a double edged sword. He's a master coach, but ultimately because he's so good he can be selfish and other teams still want him even if he has acted improperly before. The way he bunked out on the Brumbies was a disgrace. Maybe the only thing worse is the way he has mined their player pool for his new team.

I asked this as well and found out that Andy Friend was sacked as Brumbies coach after two games in 2011.

Yep, given the boot after their round 2 loss against the Rebels..........

However that was far more shocking as Friend had at least been one win away from a finals spot the two years prior.

Your thoughts on that, Reg?

Not a fan. I wonder if it would have so pissed off one if the other was appointed as an interim coach? If it was the case them perhaps both Stiles and MOC should've kept their roles and Brad Thorn was named Head Coach / Manager (ala English footy) with the ultimate decision made by him.

Anyway, we should know the way forward in 3-4 months.

What a fucking basket case of a place.

The sackings should start with the board, all this is their fault.

Burn the place to the ground and start again.

But seriously, this Reds board have a degree of culpability in this outcome never before seen in the failure of a team.

To reappoint Graham when it was obvious to all and sundry he wasn't the man for the job, and then finally do him only 2 games into the new season is a clusterfuck of epic proportions. They have robbed the team and fans of a whole season where they could have bought in a new coach, get a pres-season under the belt and begin the rebuilding process. Now they've lost that year.

Whilst I support your premise I really have to object to this statement as a Tahs fan. The QRU is only now just starting to reach the depths previously well explored and fully mapped by the NSWRU. If they had asked nicely I'm sure they could have given them directions.

Different comedic style. Reds are Benny Hill. Tahs were the Goons.
