or it could just be that the coaches are foxing

as I would bet money .... that come scrum time Whiteman will be in the second row ... and no way would you lock up Murphy ... with his potential for turnover ball

I just hope Waverley muscle up at scrum time, as think Barker could do well (have ascendency) in the tight 5 ... and reckon they could rattle a Waverley used to having Moretti/ Wright knock the stuffing out of forwards getting too cocky around the fringes of the ruck

anyway looking forward to the game .... and I do note that the strong Southerly is forecast to continue ... so I don't mind Donaldson at 15

just prefer Andrews at 10 and Hardaker 12 ... although like sideline I have faith in this coaching pair

Yikes ... the penny just dropped ... regarding Andrews on the wing.

It is Will Lloyd ... danger man .... didn't he bag 3 tries for NSW in the final game?!

I am getting nervous ... the more I think about this game. And if memory serves me right Barker has a big hard hitting 12.

Think Waverley's backrow hold the key ... a MOTM performance from Cornish is what is needed ... either that or Hardaker sinking Barkers hopes with his magic.

Hope Waverley gets some support ... like they did at Joeys ... the barmy army, could be the difference

Lloyd's a danger man but he's only one player and has to get the ball first if he does play wing.
The tactics employed by both teams will be very interesting.

Well if it was the coaches plan to throw everyone, including the Barker team, into a meltdown of indecision, then look at the posts above, and yet again they are proven maestros.

Personally I think they have a structured plan, as always, which will have some set plays and involve moving players around in positions depending on attacking or defending positions.

That includes professional coaches too does it?

Sideline,

My point was that we don't lack anything to win, and that doesn't always require throwing money, but it can help.

We have:

1. Arguably the best, or 1 of, coaching support systems going around.
2. A brand new Gym.
3. An Olympic pool.
4. Good grounds, not as asthetically nice as others but just as effective.
5. A consistently natural strong resource pool of local boys, and these days also from some distant suburbs.

I think this puts us in a position where we don't need to keep playing the fiddle.
In fact a recent Sports Head of Scots said to me if we, Scots, consistently had the talent pool that roles up to Waverley, in most years, no one would ever beat us!

I also think if you look back at the historical Rugby results, Waves have won twice as many premierships as its nearest rival, Knox.

Sideline,

I said fiddle I meant the bloody violin.
Shows my musical prowess, mind you I was seriously mean on the triangle!

Ok, thank you for that super-serious and sobering prognosis.
I apologise profusely for playing the fiddle.
I'll definitely be playing it again and will no doubt incur the wrath of WLF.

Good grounds? yes, Death Valley is certainly good in a certain context of the word good. Opposing teams hate to play there, so yes, they're good but not exactly manicured.

But isnt there a certain CAS school that pays big big money for a professional coach?

Could you elaborate to help sift through this meltdown of indecision ?

Yep we all know there is but it doesn't ensure complete domination, as we saw last year at Death Valley.

Ok here we go.

On this page there are numerous if,whats, and buts, in other words no one can see a clear game plan, which I suspect is their plan for all on lookers.

Ok, so it's a cunning plan to confuse the enemy as to what the real battle plan is.

I cant speak for ''all of us'' who posted today, but i enjoyed discussing the possible ifs and buts and maybes.

Yep I agree the open discussions are what make this all fun, and everyone has their views, but I wouldn't be surprised if the coaches are foxing.
