That Lions series really rammed home how you need a really good one on one put your arse on the turf tackle to halt momentum and occasionally make use of quick ruck turnover ball...oh to dream of forwards that can do that....oh but wait I guess all that potential talent gets scouted to other...

Great match. Maro Itoje = MONSTER! Credit to the English as they took their opportunities when presented. Clearly we have a series!!
Hopefully next match we can see :
1 Less isolated runners being turned over.
2. Bit more starch in the forwards breaking the gain line.
3. Maybe a back up...

Long term Phipps doubter but thought he did pretty well in the Waikato....if memory serves me right he rode the pine for the last RWC behind the other two...
