They do recruit as well. Sorry to say. Even with there Rugby Program that they have, they do not have the ability to win it. Ashgrove or Iona will be 1st xv champs

your opinions dont really strike home, wel just leave the bragging rights to next year okay ? Eddies Rugby is as strong as ever and you can expect big things from Eddies.

I can tell you for a fact that the eddies Director of Rugby was at those trials to protect the kids already enrolled at Eddies from those up the road who take every talented footballer in Ipswich, leaving Eddies to take who they get and mould them in to Rugby players. Eddies lost several boys from Year 8 this year because of it. Interesting how he did not speak to one single parent or boy on the trial day yet the IGS rep was approaching every parent available and organising interviews on the phone all day!! The only thing Eddies can offer is a quality Rugby Program, which is why several of their star players do not leave, despite consistent scholarship offers from GPS schools. Eddies do a pretty bloody good job with their program, considering they are the only school without a primary group and have no boarding school. They have had most numbers in 18 and 18 years QLD representatives of any AIC school for the last 2 years with 7 of this years' 1st XV squad in the Met West team that won the 15 years' States 2 years ago.
Dig a bit deeper and you will find they have 10 Level 2 coaches on staff and a strong 3 year development program from Year 8 to 10. Let's not bring down years of hard work with false statements because we can't understand the root of their success. Maybe you should go out and see what's happening and maybe learn a thing or two.

It will be a hard team as there are so many players who can make it. AIC rugby has changed. The back row will be Harley fox 6, Brad Wilkin 7 and Sam Clarke 8. Not to sure about the backs but Henry Devine 12 and Moses from St. Peter's at 9. These players definitely can hold their own against GPS. Hopefully AIC can field a dominate side however, GPS will win

Received word that BBC superstar of 2011, Junior Fakaosilea started today at St Pats, after being expelled from College. Australian Schoolboy representative. Absolute superstar and along with the arrival of another player that is contracted by the Broncos. Nearly turns Pats into a serious contender.
