Huh. Would you look at that. Auckland were playing today. Like I said, as an individual who has never cared about provincial rugby, I was absolutely unaware of this game of rugby union football occurring between the Good Guys and the Evil Empire.

^ you don't happen to run the Official Mitre 10 Cup website do you? As of this morning they're still showing Aucks 0-0 Cantabs. On the Points Table both teams have only played four matches & Cantabs are still last.

By geez the whole Tasman forward pack were missing in first 40, they perked up with 20 to go! It's fairly intense and physical comp with no rest weeks so will excuse them that!

Wellington looked reasonably handy against Otago, their No8 is playing pretty reasonable (he should of stayed in Auckland, we would have a few boredies screaming about AB selection) ,and looks like he maybe ok at Super level.

Plucky rebel Turbos 32-29 Death Star Stormtrooper Cantabs, their fourth L for the year. Still pick up two BP, though, due to the archaic four-try rule, so now on 20 & potentially stay fourth unless Mooloos can grab some points off Mako on Saturday.
