MEN – Our Fernie test team loved this ski. An exceptional performer on-piste, the V-Werks ranked at the top in edge grip, stability and long-radius turns. “A solid platform to launch attacks on the mountain! Charge into any condition at any speed and claim victory,” stated veteran tester Mark Stein. “This ski has tons of life, massive energy out of the turn and it’s fast edge-to-edge,” added Steve Wall. With its sweet, pure arcs, this powerful and playful ski is best enjoyed by stronger skiers who ski more on the frontside of the mountain.
I completely skipped skiing locally this year. Pity because it ill mean exactly a year between hitting the slopes.
Next year will be better as I need to head to Vancouver for some work in March so guess what I'll be doing
Thinking of hitting the slopes on the South Island of NZ later this year. Recommendations?
fatprop, I asked around the ski school but couldn't find anyone using the Völkl Werks RTM84. I have found a couple of online reviews though:
Ski Canada magazine
From what I've seen and read, they look like a great all-mountain ski and the stability on ice is a big plus for skiing in Australia.
