^ it's got Paremoremo jailbreak with intent to play some 'nesian-styles b-ball written all over it. Shawks won't know what's hit them.

On t'other hand I've taken them in my tipping comp which has in the past been almost a guarantee of them losing.......

Leon is not mucking around. Collins pays the price for another poor NZ derby performance by him. That backline from centre on out has more pace than last week's team.

Blues team

15 Melani Nanai, 14 Caleb Clarke, 13 TJ Faiane, 12 Sonny Bill Williams, 11 Rieko Ioane, 10 Otere Black, 9 Jonathan Ruru; 8 Akira Ioane, 7 Dalton Papalii, 6 Tom Robinson, 5 Josh Goodhue, 4 Patrick Tuipulotu (c), 3 Ofa Tuungafasi, 2 James Parsons, 1 Karl Tu’inukuafe.
Reserves: 16 Matt Moulds, 17 Alex Hodgman, 18 Sione Mafileo, 19 Gerard Cowley-Tuioti, 20 Matt Matich, 21 Augustine Pulu, 22 Harry Plummer, 23 Tanielu Tele’a

Like the look of the team named, I agree Collins probably needed a rest after last weeks game, If Rieko plays full game this week he will be rested next week with AB protocols. If Ruru and Black play well, could be interesting. I like Ruru, but he has limitations, but agree starting him ahead of Pulu.

You get the feeling Plums has marked this up as a loss already?

Yesterday was the eighth anniversary of the Canterbury earthquake that killed 185 people. There's no mention on crusaders.co.nz or elsewhere of anything being done to commemorate it but presumably there will at least a moments silence pre-kickoff.

What they have done is re-name the Red Zone "Razor's Red Zone" for the night so expect to see plenty of people wearing Razor masks.

tab.co.nz now offering $4.05 for Horrorcanes head-to-head, I don't think I've ever seen such lop-sided odds for what's now the greatest rivalry in NZ derbies.

guessing the Cantablacks will be doing a bit of a 2015, not too many fucks given about soup season, enforced
resting of plenty over the season, eyes on the real prize.....

^ Allegedly they've only once won Super Rugby in the same year as a RWC supposedly took place, that being 1999 but I'm fucked if I can remember there being a RWC that year. #fakeWikipage :)

Horrorcanes actually ARE the Horrorcanes.

Could challenge the Blues for the wooden spoon this year. All the flash backs in the world won't help em with that Dane Coles + club rugby plonkers forward pack.

PAINS me to say, and I will probably delete this post as soon as I make it lest W.Oldboy has a full-blown aneurysm in his nads, but the Cantabs are actually playing quite stylishly today.

Had a little nap after the Tahs game - needed it. Then just put on the TV to see this scoreline.....well that escalated quickly.

Delete away all you like my good man but I've made MULTIPLE copies of that post. Even Trump & Nazi Barbie couldn't deny the existence of said post.

Fair to say I'm gobsmacked by the scoreline, wondering if someone has been tampering with my refreshments & I'm gunna wake up to find it's really 14-13 or somesuch.
