I think he's just a dickhead (which is probably and understatement actually)
I liked the way we just mostly laughed it off when they started chirping, it just makes the opposition look even more like pricks and means they don't get the rise that they're looking for. There was a great shot of Kurindrani standing over Smith just chuckling to himself when a guy 20kg lighter and 20 odd cm shorter tried to give him some lip.

Wins a wins, but if the Wallabies could hold onto the fucken pill, don’t force there passess when they make a break and foley kicks his goals. They would have put the All Blacks away in a big way last night.

Thought the Wallabies went bloody well, was at the game, and really felt the Wallaby forwards were pretty good at belting into everything that moved. The ABs were all over them in first half, but Wallabies hung in there and came away and did some good stuff when needed. All in all wasn't to disappointed, was nice to feel the the ABs are just not going to turn up and win, and international rugby is still competitive. Seems it was general feeling form most ass I left ground, both AB and Wallaby supporters I spoke to. Spoke to heaps of Wallaby supporters enjoyed shaking their hands and sharing their joy. Good for rugby I think all round

Especially good for rugby in QLD. They haven't seen a lot of success since the Reds won in 2011, hopefully a performance like this at Suncorp will be good for crowd levels next year.

I must say that just before half time I thought this was going to get ugly. That try seemed to lift the spirits. The Wallabies have seemed to develop the ability to score tries, remember when we averaged one a match a few years ago.
I really like Dempsey after the last couple of games, didn’t rate him much before that. While small the balance of the back row seems pretty good.
Can Hodge please take over all the kicking. I think it seems to really effect Foley and while his defence was immense last night his attack left a lot to be desired.
And on the jersey, it’s the best one we’ve had in the modern era. I’d be a big fan of keeping it forever. Maybe they could get a different artist to design one each year. Would add a lot of interest and drive sales much more than changing the colour of the collar.

Pressure does that

How good to wake up to a win; analysing this win will be welcomed procrastination for at least a week.

Here are some stats (lifted from Channel Ten via TSF)
Stat: AUS / NZ
Runs: 122 / 82
Run metres: 714 / 440
Pens: 9 / 11 conceded
Tackles: 93 / 153
Missed: 11 / 28
Possession: 51% / 49%

Titillating stuff, I tell ya.
I think Nathan Grey might finally be able to close the Classifieds section in the newspaper and sleep easy this week.

What a win lads.

That AB defence was farking brutal, the hit on Foley simply the icing on a granite cake. They were there to play, and they were dangerous, but we believed we could take them on and we did.

Not for 30mins of the game, but all 80. Just sustained, high paced, creative attack with great handling skills and composure. Just the right amount of cojones too. This wasn't s a slow scrappy game the kiwis never got going in, they were throwing the sink at us but we matched it and added a few counter punches of our own.

They are vulnerable when you front up in defence, put pressure on them and are creative and fast in attack. Surprise surprise, they are only humans and even the most legendary armies of days gone by have suffered defeat when they are put under sustained intelligent pressure.

Have to back this up on the EOYT. We must dominate there, and bring this momentum into Super rugby. The squads there should have a hitman from Cheika standing over all of them making sure they are kept fit and core skills are maintained.

3 tests against Ireland will give us a good build up/hit out to get up to scratch again, and if the RC draw doesn't make us play them twice in the first two rounds again we may have a shot.

If we kicked goals in game # 2 could we have the Bledisloe.
Yeah we can all miss goals - i ask the question to relate to how tight it was.
Remove the first 40 minutes of game 1, we win.

Not to get philosophical but I am just happy for the entire team that they are now making this progress. I think the greatest gain in this performance was on the mental side and the belief this team will gain from the win. I maintain that the kiwi's want to keep us down because they know when we get momentum we are hard to stop no matter what the sport

We saw it before the 91 World Cup, we saw it in 98 when we beat the AB's in Dunedin, unfortunately we haven't seen it much since

The other comment I'd make which has been expressed is that the AB's do struggle when they are legitimately put under pressure they always have, they just don't know how to deal with it, never have, and the personality flaw in the AB's is exposed to the world and they don't like it.

if the RC draw doesn't make us play them twice in the first two rounds again we may have a shot.

The schedule for the full championship never changes. It'll be vNZ, @NZ, vRSA, vARG, @RSA, @ARG again next year.
If we want to come into the Bledisloe games with any momentum, we'll have to arrange a friendly against someone else. Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, and so on.

Just watching the replay - that really was a cheap shot from Cane on TPN. Blindsiding a guy who is getting to his feet not in a ruck. Really poor form.

Beale's performance last night was his most balanced ever. Sublime on both sides of the ball.
He seems to have taken something from the jersey: perhaps we should keep it - its a bloody good jersey in any event.
Best Welcome to Country I have ever heard: none of the platitudes. marvellous. And I said that to others before we won so its not just rose coloured glasses.
Have a feeling the ABs decided they did not want the ball.
And we punished them for that decision. Very promising.
I think we stood up to their shit too, which they did not like. Its a fine line but we trod it pretty well and they lost some of their cool.

Good to see three of the seven dwarves absolutely tear ass in the backrow tonight. It shouldn't work at all and yet the improve with every game. Having said that Cane was destroying us in the earlier parts of the game at the breakdown. The northerners are going to target us hard there.

Dempsey must be chuffed. MotM in his, 4th test? in a win against the Darkness.
